Your Roatan Combo Adventure Shore Excursion starts right at your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay) where your friendly excursion guide will meet you and escort you to your air-conditioned transportation. Then enjoy a 25-minute scenic drive around Roatan island to the zip line excursion base camp.

Zip along 9 lines, over 2.5 miles (4 km) in length, reaching 300 ft (90 m) heights while marveling at fantastic tropical views. Gravity does all the work, you just sit back and enjoy the show. You will receive instructions from your professional Roatan zip-lining excursion guides. Suit up with your secure harness and helmet and let the experienced zip line staff help you clip onto the double-cable line. Now you are ready to head out to the first cable line. There will always be a zip line guide to clip you in and another to meet you on the next platform.

Once your time at the zip line course comes to an end, you will be taken for a 5-minute ride to the Big Bight Beach Restaurant where your horseback riding adventure begins. There you will be matched with the best horse according to your weight and horseback riding skills. Enjoy beautiful jungle trails lush with tropical beauty. Follow your horseback riding guide that will take you to a secluded pristine beach where both you and your horse can splash through the waters to cool off. Your horseback ride will take about 45 minutes and small children can ride along on the same horse with their parents or a guide. Next, you will return on horseback back to Big Bight Beach, where a snorkel boat will be waiting to take you out to see the world beneath the surface of the water. You will be geared up with fins, a mask, and a snorkel tube if you need you can request a life vest too. Your English-speaking snorkel guide will gladly assist any newcomers with snorkeling. Glide through crystal clear waters and watch colorful fish dot in and out of the coral. Your Roatan Shore Excursion guide will point out specific areas of interest so you don't need to worry about missing a thing. It's not unusual to see lobsters, conch, stingrays, and much more.

The boat will take you back to the beach where you will be served a delicious island-style lunch that includes your choice (1) of fried chicken, fried fish or shrimp (garlic, buttered or fried) with coco rice and bean and salad. Then, kick back and relax, take a stroll, or catch some rays. It's all up to you. Beverages will be available to purchase throughout your time spent on the beach.

When this great day and Roatan Excursion comes to an end you will be taken back to your Roatan cruise ship pier in air-conditioned comfort!

Where we meet

For the Roatan Zipline, Horseback Ride, and Snorkel Combo Excursion, you will meet just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 6 years old.
• All underage children must be accompanied by an adult, guardian, or parent.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
  
• Guests must be able to climb up/down the ladder from the boat into the water.
• Maximum guest weight is 250 lbs (113 kg).
• Guests will be weighed on-site. Guests who are overweight will not be allowed to participate and will lose all money paid. All others in the group must give 48 hours prior notice to cancel and must pay the balance.
  

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
