This Roatan Catamaran Sailing and Snorkeling Adventure Excursion is available for cruise ship passengers arriving at the Port of Roatan Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay.
You will have a relaxing and fun day on your Catamaran Cruise Excursion in Roatan. The beautiful Caribbean waters, the Blue Channel (one of Roatan's best snorkel sites), drinks, and snacks all await you on this day sailing adventure.
Round-trip transportation will be waiting just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay) for a worry-free ride to the catamaran dock.
The maximum number of passengers is up to 25 for a more personalized day far from the crowded cruise excursions. Your 28' sailing catamaran will provide everyone loads of room to spread out and relax in the shade or sun as the boat gets under sail.
Your route on the way to the Roatan Marine Park is full of surprise views - watch out for the numerous dolphins that live in the area. Snorkeling at the Marine Park is outstanding. All of the snorkel gear is provided and the staff will lead you on a guided snorkel to see the rainbow of tropical fish.
From the Marine Park, you will sail to the Blue Channel which is one of Roatan's most famous sights and known for its amazing snorkeling. From the coral formations to the tropical marine life, snorkeling does not get much better than this anywhere! Bring your waterproof camera to capture some of the sights.
When you are finished with your snorkel, relax and refresh on the catamaran with your choice of beverages (bottled water, juice, rum punch, or ice-cold beer!) served along with a tasty snack of spicy plantains. There is a marine toilet onboard. On the way back to the dock, enjoy the sunshine, spread out your towel, and relax. In total, you will have approximately 4 hours of sailing fun time.
When you arrive back at the dock, the transportation will take you back to your Roatan cruise ship pier.

Note that the transportation time is approximately 30-60 minutes. Transportation is not included, the operator offers pre-arranged R/T transportation service for $15.00 USD per adult and $10.00 USD per child.
Where we meet
The meeting point for this Roatan Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion is just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Mahogany Bay). All necessary information is included on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Roatan Catamaran Sail and Snorkel Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
