Get ready to meet, greet and play with the sloths, monkeys, and other friendly animals, and then to round up your day you will have some time to relax at the beach.

For this Roatan shore excursion, you will meet your guide right outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay) where you will board air-conditioned transportation for the short 25-minute ride to the AJ'S Monkey's and Sloth's Hangout. 

Upon your arrival, you will have time to get up close and personal with friendly resident sloths and other animals. They enjoy all the attention and will definitely charm you with their quirky, unique personalities. This is the perfect opportunity to capture some photos to share with your friends and family back home. Many other types of wildlife now call this sanctuary home and many native animals that are helping to educate people on habitat, care, and conservation.

The fun doesn’t stop there, next, you will take a quick boat ride to the reef and dive into the crystal-clear Caribbean waters for some snorkeling. See the beautiful coral reef, colorful coral, and beautiful marine life.  Snorkeling is the perfect way to get up close to marine life without diving at unnerving depths. As you float calmly in clear turquoise waters, you will be able to see the bright and colorful reef swarmed by many different species of fish and coral.

To round up your day, you will head to Brady's Cay for some fun and relaxation on this private and beautiful stretch of beach.  Brady’s Cay might be small, but there's plenty of room to relax or take a swim from shore, there are beach chairs, showers, FREE Wi-Fi, and restrooms. Enjoy your time as you choose. There is a restaurant where you may purchase food and drinks. Please note that food and drinks are at your own expense.

At the end of your day, your shore excursion guide would take you back to your Roatan cruise ship terminal.

Where we meet

For this Roatan Monkeys, Sloths, Snorkeling, and Brady's Cay Private Island Beach Excursion, you will meet right at your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole or Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This Roatan Monkeys, Sloths, Snorkeling, and Brady's Cay Private Island Beach Excursion is not suitable for guests using a motorized wheelchair.
• Guests using a collapsible wheelchair are welcome but note that the island is not 100% wheelchair friendly. Please enter a comment when you submit your reservation to provide the proper assistance.
• Guests must know how to swim and be comfortable in the water.
• People under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or similar substances that may prevent safe enjoyment, are not allowed to participate.
• Guests must be able to step in and out of the snorkel excursion boat from the pier.
• Guests wishing to snorkel or swim must be able to pull themselves from the water using the boat ladder.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
