Snorkeling, Sea Lion show, and much more to enjoy all day! You will begin your fun all-inclusive day at Chankanaab Marine Park located just a short taxi ride from your Cozumel cruise ship pier. Your entrance fee into the park is included ($26.00 USD value for adults, $13.00 USD value for children). Once you get checked in, the facilities are yours for the day. You won't find this offer with anyone else - only with Shore Excursioneer. All cruise guests are welcome, with no restrictions!

Chankanaab is a protected marine park, so the marine life is thriving and some of the best in Cozumel, great for snorkeling. There is a sheltered cove-like area, crystal clear, year-round warm Caribbean water along with a wide stair entry making it inviting even for beginners. Experienced snorkelers will not be disappointed with the abundance and variety of tropical fish, coral, sponges, and more that can be found on the coral reef which is part of the 2nd largest in the world. All snorkeling gear is included along with experienced snorkeling instructions; you can snorkel at your leisure throughout the day. Take a refreshing swim, and relax on the sandy beach, or there are also numerous shaded palapas along the beach to choose from. Children may enjoy playing in the sand at the water's edge.

Once you get hungry, there is a Mexican buffet lunch along with an open bar. There are small on-site restaurants in Chankanaab if you prefer to purchase additional food or beverages.

Chankanaab is not just about the incredible snorkeling and beach, there is much more to see and do including a walk through the botanical garden, trying out the hammocks, viewing the Mayan House (homemade tortillas samples), enjoying the Tequila Exhibit with samples. Browse the Eco-Archeological and Archaeological Prehispanic Replicas, view the Crocodile Exhibition, or watch the Sea Lion exhibit! You also might spot some of the famed iguanas of Chankanaab. Do not forget your camera to capture the sites and memories both above and below the water. There are maps throughout the property to help you find your way around, showers, and restrooms. Numerous taxis are waiting at the entrance of Chankanaab to take you back to your Cozumel cruise pier.

Excursion Notes

• Chankanaab Park Cozumel is open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• This combo is not available for purchase at the park.
• Transportation to and from Chankanaab Park is not included. Taxi fare to Chankanaab Park is approximately $12.00 USD per taxi, seating 4 people.
• We suggest you bring your swimsuit, towel, sun protection (bio-degradable), cash for transportation and additional purchases from shops change of clothing, etc.
• Other activities (not included in your ticket) available park are dolphin encounters, zip line tours, spa services, and more.
• Lockers may be available throughout the park with other operators at an additional price. However, all valuables should be left in your safe on the ship.

Where we meet

For this Cozumel Chankanaab All Inclusive Day Pass and Snorkel Excursion, you will meet directly at the entrance of Chankanaab Park (approximate taxi cost is $12.00 USD for 4 people). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Please note that Chankanaab does have beach wheelchairs available first come, first serve.
• Parents will need to supervise their children at all times. Snorkel gear fits a typical 5-year-old and up.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
