Use the amazing Sea Scooters to propel you through the water, making this shore snorkel experience unique. You will be exploring the coral and marine life from Sky Reef, one of Cozumel's newest and best beach clubs. Afterward, you'll learn how to prepare traditional guacamole, learn about tequila history, and enjoy a true Mexican lunch of fajitas served with traditional Mexican beverages.

Upon your ship's arrival in Cozumel, you will meet in convenient locations close to your cruise ship pier. Your guide will help you board the transportation to travel the quick 10-minute drive to Sky Reef Beach Club. Once you have arrived at Sky Reef, you will receive your snorkel equipment plus a safety briefing on the operation of the Sea Scooters which are James Bond-like machines that you hold on to and pulls you through the water. Stay on the surface or dive under the water! Guests need to know how to swim and be very comfortable in the water to be able to participate and previous sea scooter experience is needed.

Entering the water is easy using the dock and stairs with handrails. Once in the water, you will have an hour to explore the reef with your guide leading the way. Your guide's experienced eyes will spot things such as lobster, triggerfish, sea fans, sponges, crabs, barracuda, parrotfish, butterfly fish, and maybe even a turtle!

Once you have finished exploring Cozumel's beautiful underwater world you can use Sky Reef's full facilities to shower and change into dry clothes, just in time for your Guacamole Class and Mexican Lunch! You'll learn in a quick lesson how to make delicious traditional guacamole while your lunch is prepared. Your choice of Beef, Chicken, or Vegetarian Fajitas (or the option of a hamburger for the little ones). Beverages are not included however, the beach club has a full menu, including beverages and fresh seafood should you like to purchase additional items. Sky Reef has SUP boards and snorkel equipment for rent and massages on site, as well as plenty of shaded tables and beach chairs for sun tanning. Lockers are also available at a small cost.

After your lunch, you'll learn about tequila's history, and process, and taste some samples of tequila. After the tequila class, you can head back to the pier with the guide, or you may stay at Sky Reef and relax then return to the pier at your leisure and own expense.

Where we meet

For this Cozumel Sea Scooter Power Snorkel Excursion and Sky Reef Beach Club Day Pass with Lunch, you will meet close to your Cozumel cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Guests must know how to swim and be very comfortable in the water to participate in this Cozumel shore excursion.
• The minimum age to participate in this excursion is 10 years old.
  
• Minors must be in the company of an adult or parent.
  
• This Cozumel Sea Scooter Snorkel Excursion is not allowed for pregnant women, guests with back or neck injuries, diabetes, heart surgeries, or asthma.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
