Guests will meet directly at the beach club, which is just a short taxi ride from any of the 3 cruise piers in Cozumel (taxi cost not included). Once you arrive, show your e-ticket and get checked in, and begin to enjoy your day. 

There are 3 Day Pass packages to choose from and your group can mix and match picking the option that suits them best: All-inclusive with food and drink, Day Pass with just an open bar, or Day Pass with Lunch. Included in all packages are a 30-minute free kayaking and a guided 30-minute snorkel at one of the most stunning reefs in Cozumel - Chankanaab. All snorkel gear is included along with instructions. The crystal clear turquoise blue water is home to a variety of colorful tropical fish, coral, and sponges. The rocky outcrops and shallow reefs make for amazing snorkeling! There are multiple departure times for the guided snorkel - set up your time when you arrive at Uvas.

The facilities at Playa Uvas Beach Cozumel are premium with a freshwater swimming pool, beautiful garden, beach and pool lounge chairs, umbrellas, showers, surround music, and a great restaurant and bar. This beach experience offers it all - great food, personalized service, and a beautiful sandy beach area. Please note there are designated entrances into the water for easy access!

Open from 08:00 AM to 05:00 PM - guests may arrive and leave when they like. Eat, drink and have fun!

Excursion Notes

• Departure times for the Playa Uvas Snorkeling Excursion are 9:00, 10:15, 11:30, 13:30, and 15:30. We recommend doing the snorkel excursion before you eat.
• Bring along cash for additional food, drinks, change of clothes, sun protection, swimsuit, towel, camera, etc.
• Capacity of the beach club is 500 people.

Where we meet

You will meet directly at Playa Uvas Beach Club Cozumel, which is just a 5-minute taxi ride away from the south piers Puerta Maya and International pier, or a 10-minute taxi ride from the downtown Punta Langosta cruise pier.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age for snorkeling is 7 years old.
• The minimum drinking age in Mexico is 18 years old.
• Underage participants must be accompanied at all times by a parent/guardian.
• Some restrictions for water sports may apply to expecting mothers, people with high blood pressure, asthma, diabetes, and/or similar. Please consult a medical professional for more information about safe participation in this activity.
• People under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or similar substances that may prevent safe enjoyment, are not allowed to participate in water sports activities for their own safety.
• This Cozumel Playa Uvas Snorkel and Beach Club Day Pass Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
