After meeting your professional, English-speaking guide outside your Roatan cruise terminal you will be transported in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to the entrance of the park. While inside you will have the opportunity to mingle with adorable and friendly white face Capuchin monkeys, free-flying exotic birds, and hundreds of indigenous lizards and iguanas throughout the park.

An air-conditioned insectarium features almost 2500 preserved insects from around the world, a lush tropical jungle, colorful nature trails lined with flowers and butterflies, a suspension bridge, tranquil waterfalls, and more than 200 plant and tree species that are sure to delight your senses. A pirate's cave filled with maps, weapons, and artwork reveals the history of the Bay Islands.

For an additional fee, opportunities to enjoy zip lines, kayaks, Sea-Trek, Snuba, and Sea Scooters are available with pricing and reservations directly at the park upon arrival. An onsite restaurant featuring fresh local favorites and cool tropical beverages is also available for purchase.

At the completion of your day in the park, you will be returned to your Roatan cruise terminal.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you bring along biodegradable sunblock, swimsuit, towel, camera, change of clothes, and cash for the balance payment of excursion, food or drinks, souvenirs, tips, etc.

Where we meet

For this Roatan Excursion, you will meet just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
• There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.
• Guests must be able to step in and out of the transportation.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
