Fun, action-packed combo excursion. Ride a jet ski, snorkel at a coral reef, and enjoy a relaxing beach break.

You'll meet your guide outside of your Roatan cruise terminal and be taken to the jet ski dock to start your adventure. You'll be given instructions on the operation of the jet ski and safety tips before you put on your life jacket and head off. The jet skis are for single or double riders. You'll ride over the crystal-clear turquoise waters while enjoying the lush green shoreline. The guided jet ski portion is approximately 40 minutes.

After zipping across the water, and enjoying the Caribbean from above you'll now experience it from below. A snorkel boat will take you to the best spot depending on the weather conditions of the day. Blue Channel and Aquarium reefs are 2 of the popular options. The sloping wall is from 10 to 45 feet under the water. Here your guide will show you a colorful variety of fish like damselfish, barracuda, triggerfish, snapper, grunts, goatfish, and grouper to name a few. Green moray eels, sea turtles, and lobsters also make this interesting coral their home. Bring your underwater camera to capture this other world. You'll have 45 to 60 minutes to marvel at the marine life beneath the waves all from a safe distance. Note that guests must be comfortable in the water and know how to swim. Snorkeling is from a boat and guests will NOT be able to touch the bottom.

Finish your day with some beach time at Bananarama Resort. Depending on the departure time of your cruise you'll have approximately 1 to 2 hours to relax on a white sandy beach. Here you'll have live music, 2 restaurants to choose from if you'd like to purchase a meal, drinks or snacks, beach chairs, bathrooms, changing rooms, and freshwater showers. Swim, take a stroll, or lounge on the beach.

When the beach break time comes to an end, you'll board your transportation to be returned to your Roatan cruise ship terminal.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear a swimsuit under sensible clothes and sports sandals or water shoes on this Roatan Guided Jet Ski, Reef Snorkel, and West Bay Beach Excursion.
• Bring along sun protection, a waterproof camera, towels, a change of clothes, cash for balance payment, food/drinks, etc.

Where we meet

For this Roatan Guided Jet Ski, Reef Snorkel, and West Bay Beach Excursion, you will meet just outside your Roatan cruise terminal (Coxen Hole and Port of Roatan Mahogany Bay). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 6 years old.
• The minimum age for driving a jet ski is 14 years old accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• The maximum combined weight per jet ski or waverunner is 350 lbs (158 kg).
• Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult or guardian participating in the excursion.
• Guests must be able to step in and out of the water by a boat ladder.
• Guests must have enough upper body strength to pull themselves up on a jet ski from the water.
• This Roatan Guided Jet Ski, Reef Snorkel, and West Bay Beach Excursion is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
• This Roatan Guided Jet Ski, Reef Snorkel, and West Bay Beach Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
