Whether you choose to do this activity on its own or add it to your All-Inclusive YaYa Beach Break, you’ll explore a vibrant snorkeling area full of marine life!

All necessary gear is provided. Your snorkel guide will assist you with fitting and explaining how everything works before escorting you into the water. You’ll visit two stunning spots on the same reef, so no boat travel is required. The average depth is between 6' and 12', and you'll be under the careful supervision of one of the guides. You’ll spend about 1-hour snorkeling before returning to the beach. Water is provided throughout the excursion.

Upon your return to the beach, you can enjoy the options included in your All-Inclusive YaYa Beach Break, available at an additional cost.

Where we meet

For the Costa Maya Express Guided 2 Reef Snorkeling by Boat Excursion, you will take a short shuttle ride from your cruise pier. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 10 years old.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility.
• All guests should have basic swimming skills.
• This Costa Maya Guided 2 Reef Boat Snorkel Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
