Set out for an action-packed fishing experience in the crystal-clear waters of Costa Maya. Depending on sea conditions and the species we’re targeting, we’ll use a variety of techniques to maximize your chances of a great catch, including trolling, light tackle, bottom fishing, jigging, and handline fishing. We’ll also use a selection of live bait, lures, teasers, and dredges to attract fish and bring them closer to the boat.

Whether you’re an experienced angler or trying sport fishing for the first time, this adventure is designed for everyone. Spend 3 or 4 thrilling hours on the Caribbean in search of exciting species such as barracuda, jacks, snapper, red snapper, Spanish mackerel, kingfish, wahoo, mahi-mahi, sailfish, and blue and white marlin.

Children aged 6 and over are welcome on board, making this a fantastic experience to share with family and friends. Want to eat your catch? Your professional crew can take it to a local restaurant to have it cooked for you! (Restaurant cooking cost is extra.)

Excursion Notes

• There is no bathroom available on board.
• Please bring along sun protection, a towel, a change of clothes, and a great mood!
• We suggest you wear your swimsuit under your clothes.
• Guests prone to seasickness should take precautions ahead of time.

Where we meet

For this Costa Maya Private Sport Fishing Adventure Excursion, you will meet after a short taxi ride from your cruise pier. All details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• This excursion is not suitable for guests with limited mobility.
• Minimum age to participate is 6 years old.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult or guardian.
• There is a maximum of 5 participants per boat.
• This Costa Maya Private Sport Fishing Adventure Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
