The reef system is part of the second largest barrier reef in the world, second to the Great Barrier Reef in Australia. You will get to see many types of tropical fish, coral formations, and other underwater marine life. The boat has special permits to visit the closer reefs so your travel time is short. It is all about snorkeling and beach time on this Costa Maya, Mexico shore excursion and beach club day pass!
Your snorkel excursion guide will pass out the snorkeling gear, show you how to use it all, and go over the safety information and all instructions on the way to the reef. There is plenty of time to explore the beautiful marine life below. Great coral formations, tropical fish, and other interesting species can be seen. The reefs are fairly shallow, 6-12ft deep, so viewing is easy. When you have snorkeled for approximately 40 minutes, you will return to the snorkel excursion boat.
The fun shore excursion and beach day pass in Costa Maya Mexico continues when you return to the shore. You can stay as long as you wish and may use all of the Krazy Lobster Beach Club's facilities including lounge chairs, umbrellas, fresh water showers, lockers, kayaks, and more. There is also a full-service restaurant and bar available at extra cost. You may return to your Costa Maya cruise ship pier at your leisure and expense (5-minute taxi ride).
Where we meet
For the Costa Maya Reef Snorkeling Excursion and Krazy Lobster Beach Club Day Pass, you will meet after a 5-minute taxi ride away from your Costa Maya Cruise Terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Costa Maya Reef Snorkeling Excursion and Krazy Lobster Beach Club Day Pass, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
