Sample local Caribbean cuisine and island specialties, visit a natural oasis, take advantage of stopping at some of the best local sightseeing lookouts on the island for photos and enjoy a delicious Creole-style lunch. Accompanied at all times by an entertaining and knowledgeable guide with air-conditioned transport.

Meet your St. Lucia sightseeing shore excursion guide by your cruise terminal and board your transportation. Bottled water, rum punch, and juice are provided throughout your sightseeing cruise excursion. On your departure, your knowledgeable guide will provide you with local information on the island as well as what will be seen and discovered on your fun island excursion. Excursion duration including lunchtime is approximately 7 hours.

You will head first to Castries Cathedral located in the island's capital. Over 200 years old, this is the largest and oldest church on the island and is also known as the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Alongside it, strangely enough, stands the oldest tree on the island - perhaps even the oldest tree in the Caribbean, a 400-year-old Seasaman (rain tree).

Morne Fortune is known as the historical ruins of the island and has withstood some of the most intense battles of their colonial era. These ancient army barracks were chess pieces for battling French and British armies who fought for possession of the island back in the 1700s. In the present day, they stand tall as the housing of the island's only community college, a testimony to the strength of its architecture.

There is a brief stop at a local banana plantation, the Roseau Banana Plantation, where you will sample a taste of St. Lucia's sweetest and most important agricultural export. As an integral part of St. Lucia's growth and heritage, you will learn about the process of growing and caring for the island's main agricultural export.

Continuing on for a bird's eye view of Marigot Bay, this location became famous as a setting in movies such as the original 1960s version of Dr. Doolittle and the 1970s Sophia Loren film, Fire Power. Marigot Bay boasts a secure cove and spectacular scenery and is one of the most beautiful sites on St Lucia. Be sure to bring your camera to capture some amazing photos on this unique St Lucia Sightseeing Cruise Excursion.

Visit one of the island's best-kept secrets, the Maranatha Botanical Garden. Referred to by locals as an Oasis of Serenity, the gardens offer a relaxing, natural, and romantic atmosphere. You will have time to enjoy a short stroll through this beautiful paradise and marvel at its flora and fauna before heading to a drive-in volcano!

Full of history which your guide will narrate to you, observe nearby hot pools serving as warm mineral baths, popular to islanders and visitors seeking relief from various physical pain or just needing pampering directly from Mother Nature! The pools are rich in mineral content and have been said to have great healing powers. Please note guests will not be allowed to enter the pools.

From volcanoes to plantations and more, you will have worked up quite the appetite! You will enjoy a complimentary buffet lunch of traditional island cuisine while overlooking scenic pitons. Your lunch selection includes beverages (bottled water and fruit water) and meals (varies daily but typically chicken or pasta, salad, vegetables, etc).

Return to your St. Lucia cruise pier after your entertaining and generously packed sightseeing cruise excursion!

The tour was really good and our tour guide Hans was beyond excellent. However we weren't aware that we can dip into the sulphur pool or the waterfall so we missed out on the full experience because we did not walk with our swim suits

We loved this excursion, our guide made sure we enjoyed ourselves and was always very attentive... We hope we can go back in the near future for more rum punches! We did not know much about St. Lucia before we arrived but left the island knowing a whole lot more thanks to our guide, James. Outstanding job.

I have used SE before and so I am a returning Customer. Trust builds trust! To coin a Scottish phrase, "it's like being a bairn in a sweetie shop"; but for cruise excursions. Translation is a child in a candy shop!!!
