Glide your way through a breathtaking 78-acre private nature reserve on the new environmentally friendly Segway X2. This effortless way to explore is a fun and easy way to see St. Lucia's beautiful West Coast. From the mountainside to the ocean side, you will experience the best of both land and sea during this Segway Adventure.

Meet your local guide inside your cruise pier in St. Lucia. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the view during your 30-minute ride in a comfortable air-conditioned van. Once you have arrived at the base camp your guide will give you safety instructions and make sure that you have properly fitted helmets, elbow, and knee pads. The guide will ensure you are comfortable operating the Segway by first allowing you time on the "Segway Practice Track". Leaning and balance are all that is needed to make the machine go. Once everyone is ready to glide, you will be off on your two-mile ride over the groomed nature trail system following your guide down the trail.

Local fishermen can be seen at your first stop, Pebble Beach. Heading off from there, you will go up the mountainside towards a now sealed bunker that once served as storage, lookout, and tunnels for the American Military during World War 2. Continue to the highest viewing point of your adventure, Mount Pimard. Here you will be served local fruits and juice. After a refreshing break, you will have the opportunity to walk up the volcanic masterpiece to see the "stoneface fish pond".

Heading back down the mountainside towards the beach you will take a detour to stop and view "Bell View Point". This is a perfect opportunity for pictures, as you will have a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea, Reduit Beach, the Rodney Bay Marina, and Pigeon Island. Continue down the mountainside where you will glide along the beach and pass the Beach Hut on your way back to base camp. The guide will help you park your Segway X2s, and then you will board your transportation to enjoy your ride back directly to your St. Lucia cruise ship pier.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear comfortable clothes, and closed-toed shoes and bring sun protection, bug repellent, cash for balance payment, souvenirs, tips, etc.

Where we meet

For this St. Lucia Off-Road Segway Adventure Excursion, you will meet after a short walk from your St. Lucia cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 8 years old.
• The maximum weight per guest is 300 lbs (136 kg).
• This excursion is not suitable for pregnant women or guests with limited mobility or back/neck injuries.
• Guests must be able to stand upright on the Segway.
• There is a minimum of 2 guests needed per order.
• This St. Lucia Adventure Off-Road Segway Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
