Departing from your cruise pier in Montego Bay, your friendly, English-speaking guide will get you on board the transportation for the beautiful drive to Ocho Rios.

Along the ride on the north coastline of Jamaica, you will pass through the town of Falmouth. This is where Christopher Columbus first landed in Jamaica. Your shore excursion guide will tell you how this once little fishing village became a popular cruise ship port. The transportation will continue through Runaway Bay and St. Ann's Bay before arriving in Ocho Rios.

In Ocho Rios, you will have time to explore and hunt for shopping bargains in the town's many duty-free stores and craft markets. Then the transportation will continue just up the road to Dunn's River Falls. These 600ft high waterfalls are one of Jamaica's national treasures. And you will get to climb them!

Your trained river falls guide will give you tips on how to climb the rock stairs and then lead the group in a human chain upstream to the top. Along the way, you may stop at one of the calm pools and sit under the cascading water to get your free water massage. If you would rather not climb the falls, you may wait at the bottom and watch the people on their way to the top.

Lunch is a traditional Jamaican "Jerk" lunch - chicken or pork with side dishes.

Your transportation will take you back to the pier at the end of this shore excursion in Jamaica.

Excursion Notes

• Water shoes or sandals are required and available for rent at the river falls.
• We recommend you bring sun protection, a swimsuit, a change of clothes, a towel, a camera, and cash for snacks, tips, shopping, etc.
• Please note that the changing rooms at Dunn's River are located within the park. Guests will not be allowed to exit the park to leave items in the transportation. Lockers are available to rent for USD 8.00 with USD 3.00 (refundable).
  
• If anyone from your group does not show up without the required prior notice, you will need to pay 20% of their balance as well (directly to the operator as a no-show penalty).
• Not available on Sundays

Where we meet

Excursion Restrictions

• This excursion is partly accessible to people with limited mobility.
• There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.
• Please note there is a minimum of 6 participants needed to run the Montego Bay excursion.
• This Montego Bay Dunn's River Falls, Shopping, and Ocho Rios Sightseeing Excursion with Lunch may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
