You will meet your driver and excursion guide for the day at your cruise port in Montego Bay to begin your drive along the North Coast highway to the Rio Bueno River. At the river rafting adventure base, your guide will sign you in and get you set up with all of your safety gear. Your shore excursion guide will be with you from the start of your river adventure all the way to the beach. 

Once you are all set up and ready to go, it's time to get on your river raft and start your exciting journey downstream. Along the river, there are many fun rapids to enjoy and also a relaxing spot to take a swim and a platform to jump into the refreshing river water. 

Then, going downriver for approximately one hour through the valley and over a variety of adventurous rapids, you arrive at the river bank where there will be rafts waiting for your group. From here, everyone jumps into the raft and paddles over the calmer waters to the Caribbean Sea. As you approach the Sea the choice is yours, paddle to the private beach or paddle to shore and continue your tour with a quick walk along the coast to the beach. 

At the beach, you will have some free time to relax and swim in the warm blue waters of the Caribbean Sea before heading back to your cruise ship. When your action-packed day excursion in Montego Bay comes to an end, your guide will take you back to your Montego Bay cruise port and ship.

• No rafting experience is required on this shore excursion in Montego Bay.
• Life jackets are provided.

Where we meet

For this Montego Bay River Rapids Explorer, Rafting, and Beach Break Excursion, you will meet within walking distance from your cruise ship, at the cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The maximum weight allowed is 280 lbs per person
• The minimum participation age is 2 years old.
• This excursion is not allowed for guests with limited mobility, it is also not recommended for pregnant women.
• Please note this excursion is only for cruise ship guests only.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
