Enjoy an off-road ATV adventure excursion in the area and then relax by the sparkling Caribbean Ocean on a well-deserved beach break. Lunch and two drinks are included too!

You'll meet just 2 blocks outside your Costa Maya cruise ship terminal where your Costa Maya shore excursion guide will be waiting. Depending on your cruise ship arrival time, you may have some beach time prior to the ride while the previous group completes their ATV portion. Whenever your departure time is, you will get checked in and start your day with safety and operating instructions. Note that this Costa Mata shore excursion is for single riders only; one person per ATV with no passengers. Then once you have buckled up your safety helmet and everyone in your small group is ready, you will follow your guide as they lead you out to explore Costa Maya's beautiful nature.

You'll drive through the village leading to the coastal area! The town has very little traffic and the sandy roads make it an easy drive. Your excursion guide will lead you to some off-the-beaten-path spots. In all, you'll be on the ATVs for about 1 hour. Prepare for some great off-road fun.

When the ATV excursion ride is over you'll be taken to the Barba Negra Beach Club restaurant where you can cool off with a refreshing swim, relax, catch some rays on the beach, and enjoy a delicious meal.

You'll have use of the beach chairs, tables, palapa, umbrellas, wifi, restrooms, and showers. Lunch will be included so please try one main dish from the selection and 2 drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic ) are included. Other food options and drinks are available for purchase, at your own expense. There are also many other activities available for your beach break such as kayaks, massages, snorkeling, paddle boards, etc. at an extra charge.

The club is open until 5:00 PM. As your Costa Maya shore excursion ends here, you can take a taxi back to your cruise ship pier when you're ready (the cost back to the pier is not included).

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear sensible clothes and closed shoes that you do not mind getting dirty or wet. No skirts, dresses, or flip-flops.
• Bring along a swimsuit under your clothes, towel, change of clothes, sun protection, bug repellent and cash for a taxi back to the pier, snacks, souvenirs, tips, etc.
• Please note that you would be asked to sign an insurance disclaimer.
• The taxi cost back to your Costa Maya cruise terminal is not included. The cost of the taxi is $4.00 USD approximately per person. Please confirm with the taxi driver before you get in the vehicle.
  

Where we meet

For the Costa Maya ATV Sightseeing Adventure and Beach Club Excursion with Drinks and Lunch, you will meet outside your Costa Maya cruise ship terminal. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 16 years old, guests must present a valid driver's license.
• Parents need to sign a waiver for the minor.
• Maximum weight is 350lbs (158 Kg).
• Single riding only; only 1 person per ATV. No passengers allowed.
• This excursion is not recommended for guests with mobility issues or pregnant women.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
