This is a guided snorkel and kayak adventure geared towards everyone - beginners or not! Your friendly, English-speaking guide staff will meet you just 2 minutes from the cruise tender pier. Your fun begins almost immediately at the base camp on a beach located just minutes away.
At the base, the professional guides will demonstrate all of the gear you will be using for your fun outing. They will give you tips on how to paddle your 2-person kayak so even if you have no previous experience, you will have a good time. Then your personal belongings will be secured and you will get on your sit-on-top kayak and follow your guide along the bay shoreline.
You will skirt the beaches on your way to Land's End just about 1/4 of a mile away, the last piece of land on the Baja Peninsula. On the way, you will pass many interesting rock formations, caves, and secluded beaches. You will also get to view the marine life swimming below through the clear bottom panels in each kayak. You will pass the famous Sea Lion Colony, Neptune's Finger, and Pelican Rock on the way to the Arch. You will get up-close views of them all.
Then your guide will assist you into the water to begin your guided snorkel right from your kayaks at Pelican Rock! The guide will demonstrate the snorkeling gear and then lead you into the water to explore the marine life. Pufferfish, trumpet fish, colorful tropicals and more can be expected. Note that guests will NOT be able to touch the bottom; snorkeling is done in deep water. Wet suits will be provided at no extra cost if you wish.
When the snorkel portion is complete, you will re-board your kayak, enjoy a refreshment, and before you head back. The guide will lead the group back on the kayaks to the starting point at the kayak beach base.
Where we meet
For the Cabo San Lucas Land's End Kayak and Snorkel Excursion, the meeting point is just a 2-minute walk outside the tender pier of your cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Cabo San Lucas Land's End Kayak and Snorkel Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
