Feel the adrenaline with this Canopy Zip Line Excursion, experience 16 platforms and 8 lines with the help of trained and experienced staff members that accompany you the entire time. Admire St. Lucia's rainforest and see nature at its finest in this reserve that is over 100 years old. There's even a Tarzan swing to max out your fun.

Start this fun-filled day by meeting the excursion guide inside your St. Lucia cruise ship terminal. You'll be shown comfortable and air-conditioned transportation for a 30-minute, scenic ride to the Castries Waterworks Reserve on the northern end of St. Lucia. Initially declared a reserve back in 1916, this truly is the best of nature you could see in the tropics. Lush jungle, radiant tropical flowers, colorful birds, it's all a wonder to behold.

Once you disembark at the Zip Line park, you'll be given a bit of safety information and receive your gear. You'll also have the option to obtain a locker for your personal belongings. The cost of the locker will be $3.00 USD with a separate deposit of $5.00 USD. Then it will be time for a short walk through the thriving rainforest. It is nothing less than spectacular.

Then you'll put on your necessary gear and an experienced staff member will hook your harness onto the zip line. Then off you go, with gravity doing all the work, over the tops of the trees to the next platform where another staff member waits for you. All along the way, the combination of laughter, goosebumps, and spectacular scenery will help you forget everything else and just enjoy the good life. Safe as well as fun! There is a total of 16 platforms with 8 different zip lines, the tallest zip line is 65ft height (19 meters) and 566 ft long (172 meters). All zip lines are double steel lines for added security.

You would also enjoy the Tarzan swing! Once everyone has completed the zip line course there will be time to rest and relax in the beauty of St. Lucia. There is a coffee/souvenir shop where you can buy pictures of yourself on the course, snacks, drinks, and souvenirs. Then you'll board your transportation for the return trip to your St. Lucia cruise ship terminal.

• Walking/hiking shoes are mandatory (no high heels, sandals or flip-flops).
• We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and long pants are suggested, bring sun and bug protection, cash for souvenirs, tips, etc.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 4 years old.
• The maximum weight per participant is 350 lbs (170 kg).
• Minimum waist 18in (45 cm). Maximum hip/waist 50in (127 cm)
• Due to the activity level of this excursion, participants must be in good physical condition.
• This excursion is not suitable for pregnant women or guests with limited mobility or back/neck injuries.
• Please note that cell phones are not allowed due to safety reasons. There will be lockers available to store your personal belongings at an extra cost of $6 USD, once the key is returned, you will be refunded for $1 USD.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
