You will meet your private driver at your Naples cruise port to begin your ride through the charming towns along the coastline of Amalfi! Your driver guide will give you loads of interesting facts and stories about the area along the way. The first stop is Positano, a stunningly beautiful, former fishing village built on the side of a hill. Considered the Pearl of the Amalfi coast, its nature, colors, tastes, and scents have attracted a wide variety of well-known artistic people to vacation and live. You will have 1.5 hours to explore this quaint village. Be sure that you take the opportunity to walk toward the seafront and perhaps enjoy a brief respite at one of the cafes! A real must-see is a Cathedral, the church of Santa Maria Assunta, with its majolica tile dome. There you can learn of the legend of the 13th-century icon of a black Madonna.

Your next destination is Amalfi, the town that is responsible for the name of the coast. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the charming city is built along the coastline and up through a ravine. It was the capital of the Duchy of Amalfi and was an important trade center in the Mediterranean. With its welcoming bronze doors, the Cathedral of St. Andrew overlooking the main square is a site you should not miss. The facade has spectacular mosaic tile work, and the cathedral has been remodeled several times. As a result, you will see architectural elements from a variety of stylistic periods.

A short drive from Amalfi is Ravello, a town that was founded in the 5th century and once provided shelter against Barbarian invasions. As you can imagine, it is steeped in history. But it also offers many beautiful sites with its gardens and flowers. You will see the Duomo of St. Pantaleone, built in the 11th century. At Villa Rufolo, you will take in some of the most stunning views in all of Ravello, and the architecture is an absolute masterpiece dating back to the 13th century. Finally, the Belvedere Cimbrone offers more stunning vistas. Once part of the nearby monastery of Santa Chiara, it is built on a rocky outcrop.

When you have ended your visit to Ravello, your private driver will return you to your Naples cruise port. Excursion Restrictions

• Guests must be able to step in and out of the transportation.
• Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines.
• There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
