Upon meeting your professional, English speaking guide at your Montego Bay cruise terminal, you will start your day with a quick drive to the "Hip Strip" aka Gloucester Avenue to explore the many of souvenir shops packed with Jamaican Treasures.
You will then hop into the comfortable transportation, making your way through the bustling streets of downtown Montego Bay. Along the way, you will visit the monument honoring Samuel Sharpe, the national hero, and hear his story from your local guide. Then journey to Montego Bay's Freeport zone where you will continue your shopping fun.
While in the Freeport zone, browse the Rainbow Stores that offer a huge variety of shops with t-shirts, souvenirs, rum cakes, jewelry, beachwear, cigars, arts and crafts, Jamaican liquors, clothing, and more. Or walk next door to visit the Hard Rock Cafe to enjoy their cool pools or sandy beach, where you can relax and soak up the Jamaican sun. Food and drinks are also available for purchase at your own expense. You will have approximately 1.5 hours to enjoy both the Freeport zone shopping and/or the Hard Rock.
At the end of this fantastic excursion, you will be transported comfortably back to your Montego Bay cruise terminal where you can board your ship or continue to explore at your own expense.
Great combo and affordably priced! See the city, hit the shops, learn the culture, and enjoy some local fare along the way on this half-day Montego Bay excursion. Don't forget your comfortable shoes, camera, and bargain hunting skills as you take to the streets of Montego Bay.
