Excursion Notes

• The beach break has a duration of 4 hours with 2 departures per day.
• Free use of kayaks, beach volleyball, etc.
  
• Beachside games are hosted by Isla Mia staff.
  
• Lockers can be rented for USD 6.00 per locker (plus a USD 6.00 key deposit).
  
• Round-trip transportation is available as an optional add-on and will be added to your balance, as it is payable directly to the local vendor. Please refer to the notes in the description and pricing section for details. Infants under 3 years old ride free and do not pay for the transfer.

Where we meet

For the Cozumel Isla Mia Roots Beach Vibes with Optional Round-Trip Transportation, guests who do not purchase the transfer will meet directly at Isla Mia Roots Beach. The approximate taxi fare is USD 18.00 per taxi (up to 4 people).

If you add the round-trip transportation, your meeting point will be just a short walking distance from your cruise terminal. All meeting details and instructions will be clearly printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• There are sand/beach wheelchairs available at the beach club.
• All children under 12 years and all visitors who cannot swim must be accompanied and supervised by his/her parent or guardian. 
• Children under 12 years old but taller than 4ft (122 cm) must show ID for proof of age.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.
• The use of shoes is not allowed inside the pools.
• The use of the pools is not allowed for guests with skin injuries or skin illnesses such as skin infections, open wounds, flu, contagious illnesses, cuts, eye infections, etc.
• Guests must obey all the instructions given by the safeguards.
• All possible injuries must be reported to the Isla Mia Roots staff immediately.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
