Your stress-free day starts when your round-trip paid transportation awaits you at your Costa Maya cruise terminal. You will follow the information on your e-ticket and take a taxi to the Beach Club which is just a 5-minute ride away from your Costa Maya Cruise Pier.

You will be greeted upon arrival at the facilities, the staff will pay the taxi driver directly, and after a short tour of the property, you can enjoy the rest of your day at your own pace. The beach is protected by the nearby reef so you can enjoy the calm and crystal clear water for swimming or snorkeling or possibly just kick back and enjoy one of the many drinks offered with the open bar. You can order off the menu as much as you want but beware, the portions are big! Everything at this beach club is top of the line...from the menu choices of lobster (Season runs from March 1st to July 1st) to premium label liquors.

Take a plunge in the pool on the terrace or enjoy the ocean view while sunbathing on a lounge chair. There is also a variety of activities available (extra cost on site) such as snorkeling, kite surfing, stand-up paddle board, yoga, and more.

While you enjoy the beach you can use the free WiFi, and towel service is all included. Massage service is available onsite with an extra charge that goes from $35 USD up to $45 USD.

Excellent but BEWARE TAXI’S

Wonderful service at resort, with amazing food!! William was fantastic. BEWARE: our taxi was included round trip. However, on taxi back to port our taxi driver tried to say that the resort did not pay (even though we watched them do it), and was trying to hold us at taxi- even threatened to call security saying we did not pay. She was extremely rude and made us question whether we would return or not.

Very beautiful and well kept up establishment. The pros are there right in the middle of the busy shopping area so there is a lot to see while walking around or scheduling a last minute excursion or dive trip. It is not very busy and there is a lot of space between the lounge chairs so you're not on top of each other. The food and drinks were excellent and the service was above average. I had two servers while I was there. I wish I had written down their names. One was a female and one was a skinny male. I will say I prefer this male to the female as he was more attentive Even though the female was supposed to be the primary server. The only con I had was that there was not any extra activities you could do as compared to other beach clubs nearby. There was no option for a kayaking, snorkeling, etc. My son and I still had a good time though.

Finding a taxi was easy and no problem. Driving to the resort you go through areas that do not appear safe. I suggest traveling in a group and not solo. Upon arrival we were skeptical based on the outside appearance. The service was incredible and extremely friendly. The drinks were poured heavy, fresh, and amazing! I highly suggest the pina colada. The food was delicious. HUGE! My husband ordered lobster nachos that were insane. COME HUNGRY!!!! I got an hour long massage on the beach under the palm trees for $35.00. It was so relaxing and perfect. Exactly what I needed. The beach is nice however, the water does have a lot of seaweed. We also had 2 people get stung by a jellyfish.

Two couples from Missouri, cruising on the Carnival Freedom, are now in love with this place. This was the only excursion we booked outside of the cruise line and it was by far our surprising favorite. Once we found the taxi, transportation went without a hitch and was included in the excursion cost. We were greeted at the taxi, and for the afternoon were waited on hand and foot with creative drinks and delicious food. The beach was beautiful & uncrowded, and we had comfy,padded beach \"beds\" under thatched cover. All of us had massages that ranked among the best. Those hours went by so quickly...now we'd all like to go back for a longer stay!

Wonderful Beach Day!

I was absolutely thrilled with this beach day and location! The beach was clean and lovely, the food was amazing along with the drinks. We were made to feel at home and we had a blast! The excursion with the national beach club was exceptional. They were so welcoming. Paid our taxi and were ver quick to get us a return taxi when we were ready to leave. Great food. The best day of our cruise! It felt like we had the beach to ourselves! The food was over the top AMAZING! My massage was great! And the drinks!!! They really spoil you! Worth the money! We had a cat that visited us while we were there! Lucky cat living his best life!

Once you get off the boat, you navigate outside the tourist area to the cabs outside. It's about a 10 minute drive to the hotel and they pay the cabbie for you. Then bring you in, take your payment and go over all the stuff that's included. The staff is extremely friendly and very happy to do whatever it takes to make your visit as enjoyable as possible. We were lead to our chairs and umbrella and started relaxing immediately. We ordered some drinks and snacks and everything was delicious. After a bit we hit the water. It's totally calm and surrounded by a reef so it's perfect to relax in. You can hang in the small lagoon area or go out of it and go way out past the reef if you want. There are hammocks in the water if you choose to relax. They have a small pool by the hotel you can hang in if you want. After swimming, we ordered up more drinks and a few orders of the lobster. They remove the tails from the shell and cut it up so it's easy to eat. Everything was delicious. They don't blink an eye when you ask for 2 more orders of lobster either. They don't skimp or cheap out on anything for you. You also can get a free 20 minute massage on the beach if you so desire. We highly recommend this place as everything is excellent except for the wifi lol. It was very slow if it worked at all but between the beach, the food and the relaxing, it's not a big deal obviously.

Shore Excursioneer was spot on again! Great day at a beautiful little spot in Mahahual! Gorgeous beach, great food and huge cocktails. William the owner is super nice as was Raphael our server for the day. We loved the massages on the beach. The ladies had great technique and gave a generous amount of time! What a splurge for the day! Hammocks in the water to relax on. This my idea of Paradise! We will definitely return!

We spent a day at the Nacional Beach Club on Thursday, October 31st. From the taxi ride, to arrival to the food, drinks, service, everything was exceptional! Within moments of arriving our taxi was paid for and we were seated on our reserved loungers! We ordered breakfast and drinks. The orange juice was freshly squeezed just for me, so tasty! We enjoyed really delicious guacamole, chips, fresh pico de gallo, steak quesadillas. We received wonderful massages, too! We would highly recommend this excursion if you're looking for a day away from the world to relax and get pampered.

This is a wonderful beach club, a super relaxing and friendly atmosphere. The staff was amazing, I could say that they love their job. Every time we needed anything or ran low on drinks, the staff gave us a hand. We really felt at home. The massage was great! 20 min was not enough so we purchased 1 hour. AWESOME!

My family of 6 had a fabulous day in Costa Maya. We were visiting for the day from Carnival Freedom. The drive by taxi was very safe and short. Upon arriving at National Beach Club, we were more than impressed with the staff. They were so nice and appreciative. The food was AMAZING!! The drinks were great. The beach was never shallow but it was perfect for what we were looking for. The small pool was very relaxing. We had the beach to ourselves and received Royal treatment. My 80 year old dad was with us, and he enjoyed the 1.5 hr massage he received that was included in the price!! If you are looking for a relaxing day, BOOK THIS!! You wonâ€™t be disappointed. We will definitely be back.

At first we weren't sure what we had gotten ourselves into. We forgot Costa Maya was an hour behind ship time & we arrived early. Nobody was around for a few minutes & the cost of the taxi was included. The staff handled it well, paid our taxi drivers, told us to roam around a few minutes & they would call us for breakfast quickly. The food was good. Then we enjoyed the day lounging on the beach & by the pool & the tiki bar. Met & talked a lot with the owner of the place who was very friendly & our bartender. Then lunch time came, and OMG, the food was TO DIE FOR!!!! Our group of 9 had THE BEST day & did not want to leave. The entire staff was very friendly & catered to us very well. We've all talked about this ever since & can't wait to return.

Our party of nine spent an awesome day with Evan and his wonderful staff at the Beach Club. The service was over the top. We caught two cabs from the pier and as soon as we arrived, Evan and his staff greeted us and paid for the taxis. We were instantly made to feel at home. Evan offered to make breakfast to order - omelets, smoothies, etc. We were shown to the beach, where another staff member arranged chairs and umbrellas to our liking. Staff consistently checked on us taking orders for drinks, fresh cut fruit and even sugar cane. Lunch was amazing - everyone had lobster - I would strongly recommend the grilled lobster. After lunch we hung out at the swing bar, where Evan personally made fresh fruit drinks - my favorite was the dragon fruit margaritas. Also included was a relaxing 20 minute massage for everyone in our party. We could have easily have spent several more hours there. Evan has several bungalows that he rents and I assume he treats his overnight guests as well as his day guests. The only drawback was the beach itself. There was a lot of grass/seaweed that made it less inviting than some of the other stops we made on the cruise. The bottom line is if you want an excursion to spend time in the ocean, this is probably not for you. However, if you want to spend an afternoon of being pampered and attended to with excellent food, drink, service, and a personal massage - this is well worth the expense. We will be cruising to Costa Maya again next summer and I fully plan on spending another awesome day with Evan and his crew!!

The pool was under renovation so that was disappointing. The ocean water was full of sea weed, maybe the time of year. My wife and daughter walked out to the hammocks to relax while may other daughter and I relaxed on the beach with drinks. The food and massages were great. The people were great!!!

Beautiful, Delicious, Relaxing

Excursion started off with a short cab ride that Nacional Beach club paid for! We were greeted by the owner who was super friendly! We then got to pick our beach chair/lounge area for the day. All day we had unlimited drinks. HIGHLY recommend the Juices our favorite was the mango and orange blend with ice. My boyfriend also added tequila to those. We absolutely loved the view. The water was so clear and beautiful to swim in. The lunch we had LOBSTER, CEVICHE, and the best GUACAMOLE :) It was yum yum yummy! There was live music that made for a fun beach day and we really enjoyed our 20 minute massage, you can get more time if you wanna pay. I would recommend bringing snorkeling stuff not included. They supply towels and have outdoor showers. When we left to go back to port they also paid for our taxi!!

I'll have to admit upon first glance, I was a little concerned. You arrive from the back of this beautiful place, and it looks like you've arrived at the wrong place. Once you walk through a narrow path, and get to the front, all worries are gone. We were immediately greeted by the young man that would eventually be our personal attendant for the day. We were offered a drink immediately, and brought to the bar so we could choose for ourselves which liquor we wanted. All top shelf, all very good. When there was a language barrier concerning the difference between a "diet" soda and a "light" soda, there was an English-speaking person there right away to translate for us, so we knew what we were getting. After choosing our first drink of the day, we were lead to the beach, where we could choose from chairs in the sun with tables, chairs in the shade with umbrellas, or these giant beds. We chose the perfect chairs in the shade. Our personal attendant checked on us often. Refreshed our drinks promptly, and when it was lunch time, he brought us a lunch menu. We ordered what we thought we wanted, and our attendant was disappointed that we had not ordered any shrimp or lobster. We appeased him by ordering more food. The lunch was delicious! I had the chicken soft tacos, and they were so tender and yummy! A wonderful jazz band started playing, and it was the perfect moment on a perfect beach. I later found out it was only two musicians playing at the bar area, but it sounded like a full band! The beach was warm, and clear. The seaweed had lined the beach, and efforts were made constantly to remove it, but mother nature won that battle the day we were there. When it was time to leave, our ever-efficient assistant called us a cab right away, and we headed back to our ship. The facilities were beautiful, restrooms were clean and fully stocked. Drinks and food were plentiful, and the service was excellent. I would love to be back there today. Thank you for the wonderful excursion option.

We were a little concerned when we arrived but that was very quickly turned around and we were escorted to a wonderful area on the beach with our own little area with lounge chairs and lots of umbrellas. Throughout the day we were treated like kings and queens. The drinks were delicious and the food superb! Everything was brought right out to us. We loved our day at (the) beach club. The owner was very attentive to our every need. We liked it so much we would stay there for a week in these super cute bungalows. Great day donâ€™t pass it up

Let me just say, this was one of the big highlights from our trip! This place is FANTASTIC!! Everything you could ever want in an all inclusive beach resort is here! The staff is incredibly attentive - without being "too much". The water and views are awesome. Towels are included, a 20 minute massage is included and they will make you anything that you could ask for to eat - including lobster! Also, breakfast is included and we didn't know this but I wish we had. Oh, the pina coladas are amazing!!! They are made fresh - not from a mix - and if you've never experienced this, do yourself a favor and try it! I cannot say enough good things about this place. I've been to quite a few beach resorts and this one is my favorite! Transportation is included - they will pay the taxi driver for you. I only wish we could've stayed longer - like for days. I've booked another trip to Costa Maya and will be returning here. Tip: get off of the cruise ship as quickly as possible and get there! You don't want to waste a minute of your time not being there!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!! The nicest staff and owner in Costa Maya!!

Loved the place, since the moment you arrive you can sense a relaxation atmosphere. My waiter, Mario, made sure I had a great time, he was very attentive and anticipated all of my needs. All of the food is very tasty but let me say that I've never tried such a well prepared lobster, EXCELLENT CHEF! I highly recommend this excursion if you are looking to avoid cruise ship crowds. Great way to spend the day at the beach.
