This is a seasonal Cabo San Lucas Whale Watching Cruise Excursion; whale watching season is typically December 15th through April 15th annually. Enjoy this unique comfortable and unique whale watching panga boat. Small groups with guaranteed wildlife spotting.

You'll meet your experienced guide close to your Cabo San Lucas cruise tender pier. He'll get you to your boat to start your exclusive custom-made whale-watching tour in comfort and style. On board is a great sound system with excellent music and cold drinks (soft drinks and bottled water). Your boat has a maximum of 6 guests who'll be searching the Pacific Ocean and Sea of Cortez for the world's largest mammal. 

On your quest, you'll be able to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cabo San Lucas Bay and several points of interest. Get your camera ready for views of The Arch (El Arco), a distinctive rock formation where the Pacific Ocean becomes the Gulf of California. Your boat will motor past Lover's Beach ( Playa del Amor) as well as connecting Divorce Beach (Playa Divorcio), a sandy beach with rough waters and many rocks where vacationers come to sunbathe and explore. You'll also see the Sea Lion Colony where friendly sea lions frolic and make their home. You will see Pelican Rock and Neptune's Finger. Make sure you glance overhead as well when you are out at Land's End...you will most likely spot some of the local frigate birds gliding above the rock formations in their distinctive "M" shape and split tails. 

Your knowledgeable crew will point out all the sea life they spot along with the whales. Along with the wildlife, you will also be treated to some great shoreline views of the million-dollar houses perched on the rocky hillside. You never know who will have their mega yacht in port to party in Cabo.

But the main stars of this excursion are the migrating whales! Traveling thousands of miles round trip each season, the visiting whales off Cabo are amazing. Primarily humpback and gray whales visit the area although several other species of whales can also be spotted such as the occasional blue whale, along with possible dolphins, orcas, manta rays, and even sports fish jumping out of the water! You never know with Mother Nature. Most sightings are fairly close to shore so travel time is minimal. The boats and captains follow strict government guidelines and regulations when approaching the whales. Keep your camera ready!

When your adventure whale-watching shore excursion comes to an end, the unique panga boat would return to your original meeting point where you can continue to explore at your own expense.

Excursion Notes

• Bring along sun protection, a camera, cash for tips, souvenirs, etc.
• A light jacket is also a suggestion as the temperatures on the water can be chilly.
• Precautions should be made ahead of time for seasickness as the boat will not go back to the dock early before the excursion is completed.
• Please note that Cabo San Lucas is a cruise ship tender port, you will not be docked so you should allow enough time to get off the ship.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age for this shore excursion is 6 years old.
• Pregnant women or guests with limited mobility and recent back or neck issues are not allowed on the powerboat for their own safety and comfort.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
