Once your ship has arrived in St. Maarten you will meet directly at the park just a 30-minute ride away, where you will begin your adventure. Your adventure begins in the Museum, discovering the customs, traditions, and lifestyle of plantation life through the eyes of Trace and Emilio Wilson, born into slavery in 1818.
As you exit the Museum you will embark on Sky Explorer, a chairlift rising 1,125 feet to the top of Sentry Hill, one of the island's highest peaks. Once atop the mountain, you will have a 360-degree view, from a series of platforms, of the island in addition to the neighboring islands of Saba, St. Eustatius, St. Barts, and Anguilla. After taking advantage of this fantastic photographic venue, you will be escorted to the transfer station for a short orientation. Here, you will put on your harness and safety equipment and revel in your exhilarating flight over the mountain ridge on the Sentry Hill Zipline on a 500-meter four-span line.
After removing your equipment, you will board Sky Explorer for a second time as you descend the mountain into the beautiful Emilio Wilson Estate enjoying this incredibly unique perspective of The Friendly Island. Don't forget to make a stop in the gift shop to peruse souvenir and attraction photos for purchase. Emilio's Restaurant, tucked into the colonial estate walls, features classic local fare with a new twist. An appetizing assortment of food and beverage is available for purchase if you so desire.
When the time has come to depart simply ask the staff to call a cab for you to take you back to your cruise ship pier in St. Maarten.
