Explore the exciting city of London on an iconic double-decker sightseeing bus. The best way to see the sights is with a great view from the top deck. Marvel at famous sites such as Buckingham Palace, Piccadilly Circus, and Trafalgar Square, and more.

This is the perfect option if you are in town on holiday or before your cruise out of Southampton. Guests can join the excursion at any of the stops throughout the city. Cruise ship guests can take a shuttle from Southampton into the city (cost not included). There are 6 routes for you to choose from - do one or do them all with time allowing. The Yellow Route entire loop takes approximately 180 minutes and the buses run every 10-30 minutes. The Blue Route takes 150 minutes and the buses run every 20-30 minutes. The Green Route takes 50 minutes and the buses run every 20-30 minutes. The Orange Route take 50 minutes and the buses run every 20-30 minutes. The Purple Route takes 50 minutes and the buses run every 30 minutes. The Black Route take 20-30 minutes and the buses run every 20 minutes. Guests may choose to just stay on the bus for the full loop or hop off at any stop then hop back on once they have finished exploring. See the link below for the map so you can plan your day.

When you get on the bus, you will use the provided headsets to listen to the commentary. You will hear all about the sites and attractions as you pass by. The commentary is available in 11 different languages.

London is the capital of England and there is a lot to see. The bus will take you to them all including historical museums, parks, galleries, shopping and so much more.  That is also where you can ask about the three exciting walking tours that are included with your ticket. Accompanied by a guide you can explore and learn even more about this great city. Included in the price is also a free hop on/hop off River Thames boat cruise that goes between Westminster and Tower Pier. From British Royalty to iconic landmarks...this great excursion has all you could want to explore the exciting city of London, England. Note that entrance fees to the attractions are not included.

Excursion Notes

• Excursion prices shown include all taxes, fees and are quoted in US dollars.
  
• For all cruise shore excursions in United Kingdom and Europe in general, as you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered for men and women.
  
• We suggest that you have cash (EURO) on hand for refreshments, excursion staff gratuities, shopping, etc. Sensible, rubber-soled walking shoes are highly recommended along with sun protection.

Where we meet

For the Hop On Hop Off City Sightseeing Bus Excursion, there are numerous starting locations all over London City. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. Transportation to the starting points is not included.

Excursion Restrictions

• This London Excursion can accommodate fold-up wheelchairs on the lower level of the bus only. Please note, many sites in London are not wheelchair accessible.
• Guests must be able to navigate a narrow steep staircase to access the top deck of the bus.
• Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines at most stops. There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.
• For all cruise shore excursions in the United Kingdom and Europe, as you may be visiting a religious or memorial site, shoulders and knees must be covered for men and women.
• Seating on the bus is on a first come basis.
• Excursion tickets are only valid on City Sightseeing buses. Unused tickets or tickets presented to another operator are non-refundable.
• As there is no specific end time the excursion, it is guest's responsibility to know their ships scheduled departure time and plan their day to be back on board at the appointed time.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
