Your multilingual and English-speaking private Mallorca shore excursion guide will greet you right outside your cruise ship's terminal of Mallorca. A comfortable minivan or minibus with A/C will be waiting for you, just climb in as the adventure starts! There is a recommended itinerary for your day, but please feel free to customize it at your best convenience with your excursion guide.
After a scenic 30-minute drive, the first stop is the Bellver Castle, a peculiar circular-shaped castle with Gothic architecture. Built in the 14th century, the castle was once the residence of the Kings of Mallorca. A few hundred of years later it was turned into a prison for some political leaders and it is now a museum and symbol of the city. The actual time you will spend at each site is flexible for your group. Throughout the day and drive, your guide will be giving you information, stories, and insight into Mallorca and the area.
Your next stop is Valldemossa, a village that is famous for one landmark: The Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa. Built at the beginning of the 14th century, the Royal Charterhouse of Valldemossa is still a favorite place for writers, musicians, and painters that visit the village looking for inspiration. Your driver will point out the sites as you slowly drive through the lovely city.
You can stop, buy a snack and enjoy it on the drive back to Palma de Mallorca. You can take a short tour through the quarters of the Gothic, La Seu Cathedral, and La Plaza de Cort - this is at a strolling pace and a maximum walking distance of about 300 yards.
At the end of your private half-day sightseeing excursion from Mallorca, the minivan will pass along the Maritim Passeig, a waterfront area with the most important yacht clubs and marinas in the city.
The cruise excursion guide will take you back to your Mallorca cruise ship pier or you can choose to stay in the city to look around and shop and come back at your own cost and leisure.
Where we meet
For this Mallorca Private Discover Palma and Valldemossa Sightseeing Excursion, you will meet directly at your Mallorca Spain cruise ship pier. All necessary instructions will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Mallorca Private Palma and Valldemossa Sightseeing Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
