There is a lot of fun packed into this full 6-hour cruise excursion in Nassau, Bahamas. Sailing, coral reef snorkel, gorgeous private island beach break, snacks, BBQ lunch, and much more are included. This is the ideal tropical paradise experience! A minimum of 8 is needed for this excursion.

Your meeting point for this sailing and snorkeling excursion will be just outside the cruise ship terminal area. The friendly, English-speaking sailing excursion crew will get you checked in and on board the transportation. It is just a short distance from the sailboat dock. Once you arrive at the dock, the captain and crew will welcome you aboard. There will be plenty of room for all guests. There are 2 sailboats - one is 41' with a maximum of 12 guests, and the other is 56' with 26 guests maximum. The sailboat used depends on the number of guests booked for the departure.

The captain will raise the sails and the boat will head out to start your fun-filled day. As the boat sails through the clear blue waters of Nassau, the crew will offer you donuts and coffee as well as complimentary beverages throughout the day - fruit punch, iced tea, lemonade, and bottled water. Relax and enjoy the scenery! You will have a full 3 hours under sail on this cruise excursion in Nassau, Bahamas.

As the boat approaches the coral reef where you will snorkel, the crew will pass out the snorkeling gear. They will show you how to use it properly and then assist you into the water for a guided snorkel. The reef is very shallow (12'), so viewing of the marine life is outstanding. You will receive approximately 1 hour of snorkel time. The guide will point out some of the tropical fish, coral formations and other marine life found on the reef.

When the snorkeling is completed, the guide will lead you back to the boat. You then will be taken to Rose Island to enjoy about 2 hours of relaxation in the sun and white sand. A delicious grilled barbeque lunch will be served - ribs, chicken, cole slaw, potato salad, and rolls.

The cruise excursion crew will assist you back on the sailboat when the beach break is over. They will pass out a complimentary rum punch and a dessert of chocolate and fruit. Life is good!

Just lay back and relax in the sun as the boat sails back to the dock. Your transportation will take you back to the meeting point at the cruise pier in Nassau.

Excursion Notes

• Bring towels, swimsuits, cameras, and hats. 
• You may wear your swimsuit under your clothes but there are also 2 restrooms on board, and several cabins, if you would like to change. If you think you don't want to be in your wet swimsuit the whole cruise, then feel free to bring along a change of clothes.
• We recommend that you leave valuables at home, or in your hotel or cruise ship safe.
• Cash Bar: In addition to the complimentary drinks we do have sodas, beer, and some cocktails for sale so you just need to bring along extra cash (no credit cards) for your bar tab. You are not permitted to bring along your own alcohol/drinks. Sodas are $2 and everything else (beers, cocktails, wine, the Rum Punch before it's 'free') is $5.00 - $8.00 USD
• Additional rentals available: Nikon Coolpix Underwater Camera ($35.00 USD + $100.00 USD security deposit) and several of the newer design full face snorkel masks ($10.00 USD + $70.00 USD security deposit) - these are quite cool, with increased visibility and they allow you to breathe normally (through both your mouth and your nose).
• Additional purchases available: T-shirts - usually modeled quite nicely by your crew  - they are in sizes S-XXXL and are $25.00 USD (white) and $30.00 USD (NEW COLORS: royal blue, turquoise) each.

Where we meet

For this Nassau Cruise Excursion, you will meet right outside your Nassau Bahamas cruise ship pier terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• All guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by paying adult/guardian participating in the same excursion.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.
• Rum punch will only be served after snorkeling is completed.
• There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.
• This Nassau Full Day All Inclusive Sailing, Snorkel and Beach Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
