Your friendly, English-speaking Nassau shore excursion guide and transportation will pick you up right across from your Nassau cruise ship pier. You will ride in air-conditioned comfort to the dive shop on the southwest end of the island about 35-minutes away.
When you arrive at the dive center, you may recognize it from the Hollywood film, "Flipper". The friendly staff will get you checked in and the fun begins.
They will help you aboard the boat and then travel time is brief to the first snorkel site. The captain will pick the best sites according to the water and weather conditions that day. Your guides will pass out the snorkel gear and demonstrate how to use it all - snorkel, mask, fins, and snorkel vest.
When you arrive at the first snorkeling site, your guide will assist you into the water. The first stop is usually a shallow reef with an average depth between 10 to 25 feet such as Little Elvis, Goulding Cay, School House or Nari Nari. The cruise excursion guides will lead each small group over the reef and point out some of the interesting marine life. The snorkeling time is about 45 minutes before the guide takes you back to the boat.
Your second stop on this Nassau snorkel cruise excursion may be at one of the shallow shipwrecks in the area, a different coral reef, or perhaps one of the sites used in a Hollywood movie, such as the Cessna airplane used in the movie Jaws. The shipwrecks vary in depth with some deeper and the mast of the Caribe Breeze just 8 feet below the surface!
There also may be a 3rd stop to watch the Caribbean Reef Sharks. This is a site where specially trained divers feed fish to the sharks on the ocean floor below you. Guests may either watch from the boat or with their snorkel gear on from the surface. Not to worry...the shark's food is at the bottom, and you are not part of their natural diet.
The boat will return you to the dive center and the transportation will take you back to your Nassau cruise terminal.
We also have the Bubble watch option for those guests wishing to join but not to do this excursion. Bottled water will be provided on the boat and you are welcome to bring your own snacks.

Experience some of the best snorkeling on this cruise excursion in Nassau. A great combination of sights - shipwrecks, movie filming locations, or incredible reefs. See an abundance of marine life and many have time to watch the sharks.
