The English-speaking SNUBA shore excursion guide and transportation will meet you right outside the cruise ship terminal and get your adventure started. It is a short 35-minute ride to the dive shop on the western end of the island. At the dive center, the friendly staff will get you checked in and your fun begins.

The certified and PADI-trained Nassau excursion dive masters will go over all of the equipment, safety instructions, and information before you hop aboard the dive boat. Learning how to SNUBA is really simple and guests of all ages can enjoy it (see restrictions). The only skills you need are basic swimming and comfort in the water.

The SNUBA diving excursion guides will assist you with your gear - mask, snorkel, fins, weight belt, breathing regulator, and harness. Your SCUBA tank that supplies your breathing air will float along on a raft on the surface. Your guide will monitor everything. They will take small groups into the water once at the dive site. You will start out on the surface and then slowly begin your way down. The maximum depth is only 15' for approximately 30 minutes. As you go down, you will need to clear your ears like when on a plane.

There is so much incredible marine life to see, in a way you never can when snorkeling. The guide will be with you the entire time to assist you. Before you know it, your SNUBA adventure will finish but the fun does not stop. Snorkeling gear is provided and you can snorkel at your leisure. There is also bottled water provided and you may bring snacks if you wish. We also have the Bubble watch option for those guests wishing to join but not to do this SNUBA excursion in Nassau.

When your SNUBA and Snorkel excursion is over, the boat will take you back to the dive center.

• Please download and print the following SNUBA® Diving Participant Record (PDF document) and complete it prior to participation. It is required that you bring this completed form and any other required notes or paperwork.
• Please pay attention to the restrictions and requirements for this excursion, no refund will be granted if the requirements are not met.
• We recommend bringing along sunblock, a swimsuit, a towel, a camera, cash for tips, snacks, etc.

Where we meet

For this Nassau SNUBA Diving & Reef Snorkel Excursion, you will meet right outside your Nassau Bahamas cruise ship pier terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 9 years old for this Nassau SNUBA Diving & Reef Snorkel Excursion.
• All guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a paying adult/guardian.
• All guests must complete and pass an extensive medical waiver.
• Guests who are pregnant, with epilepsy, heart issues, etc. are not permitted on this excursion.
• There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available.
• This Nassau SNUBA Diving & Reef Snorkel Excursion may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
