Your great day will begin just a few blocks from your Key West cruise ship pier. You'll be checked in and then welcomed aboard the comfortable catamaran. There are spots for sun and shade and there's never a feeling of overcrowding since this excursion limits the number of passengers. You'll depart from Key West's Historic Seaport when the captain will release the sails for the full sailing experience. During the 7-mile sail, the staff will prepare a fresh breakfast including cinnamon rolls, yogurt parfaits, and delicious Cuban cheese toast.

Your captain will take you to one of the best spots to watch bottlenose dolphins! You'll be able to watch these wild dolphins safely and respectfully from the boat. Keep your camera ready and enjoy watching the dolphins playing, hunting, and feeding in their natural habitat. These dolphins surrounding Key West live here year-round!

After your dolphin-watching experience is finished, you can enjoy a complimentary drink that includes homemade sangria, boutique wine, cold beers, soft drinks, and bottled water. Now you'll sail to the mangrove islands. This is when you'll enjoy a fresh buffet that includes, fried chicken, peel-and-eat shrimp, deli meats and cheeses, and wonderful salads. Then, once refreshed, you'll be helped into your kayak and receive paddling instructions. No experience? No worries. You'll be sheltered by the lush mangroves so the waters are calm. These are easy-to-use, 2-people sit-on-top kayaks.

This is a guided eco-experience where your guide will talk about the mangroves, and how they serve as nurseries for the ocean. Understand how a mangrove can survive in saltwater and learn about the many varieties of marine life that inhabit the mangroves. Keep an eye out for ospreys, frigates, blue herons, bald eagles, and roseate spoonbills. Down below look for turtles, dolphins, manta rays, and tropical fish. 

 When your kayaking comes to an end, it's time to sit back and relax on the catamaran for the one-hour sail back to the dock. Enjoy a snack while you rest and reminisce about all the beauty you've seen. It is just a short distance back to your Key West cruise pier.

Excursion Notes

• Please consider that dolphins are in their natural habitat and the operator cannot guarantee sightings every day, but there is a 98% success rate of seeing dolphins since these particular dolphins are non-migratory. You will not swim with the dolphins and are only watched from the boat.
• We recommend you wear a swimsuit/beach clothes, sunglasses, and water shoes.
  
• Bring along a towel, a waterproof camera, and cash for tips, food, drinks, etc.
• You will need a credit card for the balance payment due.
• Bring a valid government-issued photo ID (copies are ok), in case that you need to verify your age.

Where we meet

For the Key West Island Ting Adventure Sail, Snorkel, and Kayak Excursion, you will meet after a short walk from your Key West cruise ship pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• This Key West shore excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
  
• Parents should monitor their children at all times.
• Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 21 years old.

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
