For this Key West excursion, you will meet the shore excursion staff just a short 5-minute taxi ride away from your cruise ship terminal, where they will be waiting to check you in. Once all checked in, you will board the "Miss Valyn" a quaint 54ft custom Gold Coast yacht.
This 54-foot catamaran has ample deck space, with 2 above deck modern marine restrooms, a state-of-the-art sound system, and a bar; so you will have plenty of room to spread out and relax.
As you head out to explore the Florida Marine Sanctuary keep your open for dolphins and turtles, there is a good chance you might see a few of them. Once at the sanctuary, your shore excursion guide will take you on an incredible guided excursion through the mangrove mazes. There are over 500 marine species of wildlife that you will be able to see. They will take you to the best spots to observe as many species as possible.
After your kayaking excursion adventure through the mangroves, you will head further into the wildlife sanctuary to a secluded sandbar. Here you will have the chance to either explore, paddleboard, kayak, snorkel or just sit back grab a drink, and relax on the secluded oasis.
Enjoy the music, lunch which includes: fresh local Cuban Sandwiches, fried chicken tenders, veggie wraps, fruit & veggie trays, cheese & cracker platters, pita & hummus platters, as well as ice cold drinks (bottled water, sodas, wine, and beer). Just relax and enjoy the secluded sandbar!
At the end of your Key West Catamaran and Kayak Excursion, the boat will take you back to the original meeting location where you will be able to catch a taxi back to your Key West cruise ship pier.
Where we meet
For the Key West Marine Sanctuary Sandbar Catamaran and Kayak Excursion, you will meet at 201 William St. Key West. There will be plenty of taxis available at the cruise terminal for the short 5-minute taxi ride to the meeting point. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Key West Marine Sanctuary Sandbar Catamaran and Kayak Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
