Your exciting shore excursion in Grand Cayman begins once you dock from your tender boat to your Cayman cruise terminal. Your friendly shore excursion guide will be waiting for you to take you to the Safehaven Marina and start the adventure. You will receive your snorkel equipment (including your life vest for safety) and a brief explanation of the places you will visit.

First, you will be headed to the world-famous Stingray City Sandbar where you will have the chance to interact, feed, and enjoy the playful company of the Southern Stingrays. It is very important to mention that even though these stingrays are docile and used to interact with humans, they are still wild animals so please follow all the instructions of your experienced Grand Cayman snorkel excursion guide to have the best time with these incredible animals! 

After your stingray encounter, you will go directly to the Barrier Reef/Coral Gardens! One of the most important snorkeling spots in Grand Cayman. You will see a wide variety of fish, coral, and sea life while you admire the barrier reef. The water is about 15 feet deep at Coral Gardens, however, you will be more than safe with your guides and they will make sure you feel comfortable!

Your final snorkel excursion stop will be Starfish Beach! Here you will meet the starfish in their natural environment and enjoy the beautiful white sandy beach! After all the fun, you will take a relaxing ride back to the dock where you will be picked up by your air-conditioned transportation and driven back to your Grand Cayman cruise ship terminal.

We had booked this trip just 24 hours prior to the port while on the boat and so glad we did. The tour company was extremely organized and very friendly. Most importantly, they were very knowledgeable on the areas they took us. The snorkeling at Coral Gardens was absolutely beautiful and we had huge stingrays below us while snorkeling. Our guides were so gentle with the stingrays at stingray city and never once felt rushed and they made sure everyone had the opportunity to interact with the rays. This excursion was the highlight of our trip. The customer service with the guides was great!! I highly recommend this tour.

This is our second snorkeling tour in the last year. It exceeded our expectations. It’s the best snorkeling tour we’ve done by far. The customer service and organization was the shining star of this tour. The employees of the tour company took great care of us and “went the extra mile” to make the experience great. The boat was very clean. The bud transportation has great a/c and the driver gave us a mini tour as he drove. The boat crew helped us with our gear and in/out of the boat. They even were kind enough to rinse everyone with fresh water after our last snorkeling stop. Our guides were very knowledgeable about locations to snorkel — see coral, fish, and stingrays. They were also very experienced need in handling and feeding stingrays in a very humane and caring manner. highly recommend using this tour if you’d like to swim with stingrays and snorkel. This is the fifth excursion I have booked through ShoreExcursioneer in the Caribbean, and all have been 100% excellent. This excursion was spectacular! My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of being on Ms Anna accompanied by the wonderful staff members of Captain Marvin's. They took us to some very beautiful locations and made sure everyone took part. They did an awesome job gently handling the stingrays and making sure everyone on board had an opportunity to play and get photos. The staff was exceptionally nice and the ride out to sea was nice and smooth. I do not think there was a better shore excursion out there for the very reasonable price. The photos Polo took were of great quality and hard to pass down the extra fee to purchase all 60 photos that were taken of us. Overall a very memorable experience. Thank you \"Captain Jack\" and the rest of the crew!!

What an amazing day. Absolutely incredible experience The only negatives were we didn’t have enough time. Our port stop was only 4 hours and the pictures on the boat are too expensive

The String Ray City tour was fantastic and we have been on several cruises and ranks as a top excursion. (The local operator) is top notch. It is hard to give it number 1 because all excursions are different, but for a water adventure it is our #1. We had some rough water and the snorkeling was no ideal, but that is not in their control. They also provided a skilled photographer at reasonable prices

This was a really fun experience for our family of four (mom, dad, kids ages 11 and 16)! It was only a 5 minute walk from the cruise ship to the office, where we got on a van. Loaded up on a boat and headed out to view the beautiful Cayman water! Stingray City was full of boats but not so crowded as to be too much. Our family enjoyed the experience of holding and feeding the sting rays. Snorkeling was probably our favorite though! The only issue we had was that my husband's mask never would get a good seal so he got aggravated and sat on the boat for most of that part. If you are out of shape and overweight (like me), I highly recommend wearing a life vest while snorkeling. The first time I went out, I didn't have one on and nearly drowned when I inhaled water through my snorkel. It was hard to stay afloat and get back to the boat so I could catch my breath. I put on a life vest after that and it was significantly easier and a lot of fun. Def get a waterproof case for your phone and take all the pics underwater because it really is beautiful! The photo package is $60 but we got around 20 amazing pictures so it was worth it. I just wish they would have given us more time to snorkel. We only got about 20 minutes at each location. By the time you get on/off the boat, that time goes quickly. Would definitely benefit from 40 minutes at each site. We went on Jan. 2 and the water wasn't warm but was not uncomfortably cold either. Would definitely recommend this excursion!

This was a nice, relaxing excursion. We spent time with the rays and then got to snorkel at 2 reef sites close by. The ship was clean, but the seats weren't very comfortable. Next time we will take a catamaran. The punch and water were fine. We would have preferred soda. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

This was really an amazing experience! You cannot miss this activity. Stingrays are very friendly and seem to be used to being around people. It must be the fish the guides bring! The 3 snorkel stops were really great and definitely, Cayman Island is going to be my favorite place from now on. I had promised to return with my grandchildren very soon.

Exceptional excursion, worth every penny! We had a blast touring the Cayman island on Ms. Anna! Sting ray city is a must attraction. The catamaran crew were experts on properly handling the stingray and calmly helping us get acclimated to these gentle giants. They definitely made the experience worthwhile. We enjoyed the two snorkeling spots we went to.

I was very hesitant about the stingrays but my sister really wanted to go. I’m so glad I agreed. The crew, especially our captain, made our experience great! My sister and I had never been snorkeling before and he led us around and gave great instructions. I even became a bit sea sick and Captain Steve had a remedy it worked great. Loved my experience. I will see them again.

What an awesome adventure in grand cayman. When booking this excursion, I was a bit apprehensive about going to the stingrays but the kids really wanted to do it. It exceeded my expectation of fun. The staff on the boat was incredible! The gal who I think was Allison? Was wonderful as were all the rest of the workers. The boat was incredibly clean and boat ride was enjoyable. Would definetly recommend this to anyone! They even dropped us at 7 mile beach afterwards to enjoy some time before our ship left. The woman in the RED HAT who was the taxi driver from 7 mile beach to port went above and beyond to make sure we got back to the port in time and forgave us when we didn’t have cash to pay for the ride (only had credit card). All she cared about was that we got back to our ship in time. She was great and gave us a peek at how friendly the locals are in grand cayman.

This excursion was fabulous. We were the maiden voyage on the company's new boat, the Ms. Anna. The crew was helpful and attentive. We had ample time at the two snorkel sites and were able to spend a lot of time at Stingray City. I have done similar excursions in Cayman with another company and was so impressed at the small group and how we never felt crowded or rushed. I would certainly do this again!

We got to the island. Followed the instruction on our reservation papers. Checked in. Super easy. We got on our bus, where the bus driver gave us info about the island. Funny too! Ok, let me start by saying the guys on the boat are WONDERUL! I was a little nervous due to the rain and just being in the ocean and these guys were GREAT! I felt so safe. They gave us instructions on how to use equipment, how to act around the stingrays, coral reef, fish, etc.. A man and his young son swam out a little to far and the guys swam out to guide them back in. This crew #1 priority is your safety and you can see that. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BOOKING THIS EXCUTESION AGAIN WHEN WE BRING OUR KIDS!

This excursion was amazing! The crew was awesome; helpful, fun, and knowledgeable. The stingray interaction was much better than a similar excursion we did 2 years ago, as was the snorkeling. My husband, myself, and our two teenagers had an amazing time.

Snorkeling was beautiful! Stingrays were huge and heavy Loved being able to stand in the middle of the ocean in the sand. Guide offers pictures that turn out really good but charges $60 for him to air drop them to your phone. I wish they weren't so expensive or I would have bought them

You can’t go wrong with (tour operator). the guides were great and very helpful. The were also pretty funny, they said they were about to freeze to death in the mid 70’s, I’m from Michigan that’s warm, so I told them to come and see me in February then we will talk freezing to death. The stingray visit was exceptional and just all around great time. We have visited before but not with this tour and this was by far the best! The snorkeling was very good also. I am glad we went on this tour and would highly recommend it.

Easy to find from the port, just a 5 minute walk. We were greeted by a super friendly staff that helped us check in. Boats were clean and very roomy. Crew on the boat was very friendly and very helpful. Had a blast with the sting rays and the other 2 stops. Will be back next time in Cayman!

Sterling the bus driver to the ship and back was a gem! Full of information about the island and real estate. Captain's crew on the (boat) were helpful and knowledgeable. Went to Stingrays, Barrier Reef, then finally Coral Gardens. Barrier was not easy to snorkel in with the waves so even strong swimmers might want to strap on a waist float to preserve energy and not have to fight the waves as much. We took our own flippers and full face snorkel masks (which I highly recommend) but they had plenty of flippers and snorkel masks for everyone. They provided fruit punch and water which was nice. I suggest bringing all of your things in water proof bags because there really isn't any place to keep a non-water proof bag dry. I also suggest bringing a small snack to eat on the way there or back because you'll be starving. The stingrays were everywhere and swimming all around us. The reefs were pretty cool too, especially Coral Gardens. I would not suggest taking small kiddos because in Stingray City the water is chest deep on most adults without waves. You'll have to carry little ones to hold them out of the waves. Last, you are on a small ship or in the water for 3+ hours so do wear sea bands or take Dramamine if you've never been on one---there were a few on our excursion that had not experienced seasickness on the cruiseship but did on these kinds of boats!

We arrived to Grand Cayman, and it was pouring rain. My wife was very concerned as to if we should do this still, but I was able to talk her into continuing, and boy were we glad we did. By the time we arrived at our boat, the rain just turned into a light drizzle and we took off to the rays. There were hundreds of them! Our boat only had around 18-20 people on it so it means more one on one time with the rays! The guides were incredible and we were able to get some incredible pictures that we purchased from Steve. At first we were a little worrisome getting in with the rays, but after 5-10 minutes we didn’t want to leave them! That stop alone was worth the money. We then went to two snorkel stops and the waters were crystal clear with plenty of coral and fish to see. The guides even gave us some squid to feed the fish with and it brought it so many fish. We even had a few rays show up that were super friendly. Overall, this was one of the best excursions my wife and I have ever done, and this was our 4th cruise together. Certainly a must do! Thanks to Captain David, Delroy, Steve, and Shem for taking great care of us!

crew was fantastic, the boat was well maintained. The first stop was with the sting rays, they were so amazing, they gave each person plenty of time with to interact, get pictures and feed them. Then took us to two other stops to snorkel, both unique, one had more coral and the other had more fish, both equally beautiful. The snorkeling equipment was very clean and in good condition. I purchased the picture package they sold with the sting rays, when I got home the pictures would not load from the thumb drive, I emailed them and they uploaded the pictures to email and had them to me the next day. Very professional company, they strive to make sure you are happy and enjoying yourself. I can't wait to do it again!

We snorkeled, we swam and held sting rays, and then snorkeled some more. (The operator's) shop is easy to find right outside cruise port, a 20 minute bus ride, 30 min boat ride, and we were there. Sting Ray City was too crowded when we got there so our amazing driver Leo took us to snorkel first. We then went back to the sand bar and everyone got to feed, hold, and have their pictures taken by Polo with the rays. We then went to the 2nd snorkel stop and then had our 30 min boat ride back. It was smooth and painless. They had water and punch for us to drink, I would suggest having something small to purchase to eat since EVERYONE was hungry :)

This was the best excursion ever. Driver of the bus was great and informative. Drivers of the boat were amazing. But the best part was the actual stingrays. An amazing experience that is highly recommended.

We went on the three stop snorkel trip, and it was a lot of fun. The meeting location was easy to find, and the crew were friendly and helpful. The sting rays and fish were plentiful, and the reef beautiful. Excellent snorkeling trip overall. My only complaint is that the stingray area is kind of crowded with lots of tours, but that is out of the control of the excursion crew and did not detract much from our experience.
