Your adventure snorkel shore excursion in St. John's Antigua begins as you meet your cruise excursion guide at a convenient location just a 3-minute walk from your St. John's cruise ship pier. You will be assisted onto your comfortable and air-conditioned vehicle, to begin the fun excursion.
Relax and enjoy the scenery for approximately 30-40 minutes, as you head south to Galleon Beach in your comfortable air-conditioned transportation. Galleon Beach is a quarter-mile stretch of golden sand with calm waters and is excellent for snorkeling. Galleon Beach is situated at Freeman's Bay in English Harbour on the southern tip of Antigua. The surrounding area is a beautiful collage of white sandy beaches, rolling hills, tropical vegetation, and marine life. A mix of a nautical atmosphere and beautiful landscapes.
Please note that you can stay on the beach, sit, and relax should you choose not to swim or snorkel.
You will have the opportunity to snorkel two wrecks of sunken boats accessible from shore, which have become homes to a wide variety of marine life and colorful coral. If you're lucky you might even get the chance to see a few turtles swim by, such as Carretta Carretta, Green Turtles, Hawksbill, or the giant Leatherback. Please consider this snorkeling is not by boat but rather from shore, regardless you will have a blast!
After swimming and snorkeling, you will have a chance to relax at the beach and use the restrooms at the Loose Cannon Beach Bar. You are able to purchase drinks and snacks at your own expense.
At the end of your Antigua snorkeling shore excursion, your friendly guide will take you back to your cruise ship terminal in St. John's.
Where we meet
For the St. John's Antigua 2 Ship Wreck Snorkeling and Beach Excursion, you will meet at a convenient location right next to your St. John's Antigua cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the St. John's Antigua 2 Shipwreck Snorkeling and Beach Break Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
