Experience the best that Antigua has to offer on this sightseeing and beachshore excursion, including local food, history, culture, shopping, swimming, and snorkeling! Visit a private home after passing through villages to learn about the history of Antigua, learn about the production of Pineapples at a local Pineapple farm, view two of the island's oldest sugar mills at Ffryes Estate, and lastly visit a private beach where a classic Antiguan meal will be served.

Once your cruise ship has arrived in Antigua you will meet your friendly shore excursion guide directly outside your Antigua cruise ship pier. Depending on the size of your shore excursion group, you will board an air-conditioned vehicle for 6, 12, or 24 people. Relax as you travel through villages on your way to the traditional Antigua house. From the outside, it appears modest, but once inside you will be amazed at the collections of artifacts inside. The owner will guide you through and serve you tea from the medicinal herbs that are grown right in the backyard. After about 20 minutes, you will board the transportation and travel to the pineapple farm.

Learn about the production of the important pineapple at the farm. See the pineapple in all its stages of growth. Prepare to spend around 20 minutes exploring the farm before heading off to Ffryes Estate for another 20 minutes of history. Here you will have the chance to hear the importance of and see the ruins of two of Antigua's oldest Sugar Mills.

Ultimately, you will head to the beach, where you will have about an hour and a half to relax in the sun or join in the activities at Fryes Beach! There are shaded lounge chairs available for those of you who would like to sit back and relax as well as beach games and water sports activities for the more adventurous. Take a dip or choose to snorkel in the turquoise blue water. After you have worked up an appetite, you will be served a traditional Antiguan meal of BBQ chicken, fried plantain, green salad, and fresh Antiguan pineapple! There will be other food and drinks available for purchase should you like. You will be sad to hear when it is time to board the transportation to head back to your Antigua cruise ship terminal.

Excursion Restrictions

• Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent or adult.
  
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old.
• There are no motorized wheelchairs or mobility scooter-accessible vehicles available on this Antigua Traditional House, Pineapple Farm, Fryes Estate, and Beach Excursion with Lunch.
  

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
