Enjoy a day exploring Nevis, the sister island of St. Kitts and filled with wonders and charms all of its own. You'll enjoy a fast catamaran that is 37 ft. long, and fits 16 passengers comfortably. Then you'll step off the dock on Nevis Island and have the chance to be a part of history. You'll see the beauty of the tropics and historical locations while accompanied by a knowledgeable guide. Enjoy a fresh lunch on a beautiful beach and then be brought by boat back to your cruise ship pier.

Start this great day by meeting your guide just a short walk from your St. Kitts cruise ship pier. Then you'll board your motorized comfortable catamaran. Glide across the beautiful waters to the lovely, neighboring island of Nevis.

Once on Nevis, you will board a comfortable, air-conditioned van and your first stop will be at the Alexander Hamilton Museum. This two-story Georgian style building was the birthplace of Alexander Hamilton, one of the writers of the United States of America's Constitution. He was also the first Secretary of State and strongly opposed to slavery. You'll be here for 15-minutes approximately if you want to check out the inside of the museum, the entrance fee is $6.00 USD per person (not included in the price).

Then it's on to see the St. Thomas Anglican Church. This is the first Anglican Church in the Caribbean, and the oldest church on Nevis; St. Thomas Church was built in 1643. You'll have a chance to stop and take photos of this historical building.

Next, you'll have 30-minutes to explore the Colonial Plantation, once the home of Fanny Nisbet, who married British Admiral Lord Horatio Nelson. A large, and historical plantation that was the only one with full access to the sea, quite unusual for the time period. After having the chance to see how the wealthy once lived. It will be time to stop on Pinney's beach for a fresh lunch of creole chicken, fish or veggie wrap served with rice and peas and a complimentary drink. Your total time on Nevis is approximately 3.5 hours.

When you have completed lunch, can relax on the beach on your beach chair or chill under the umbrella, take a swim, stroll along the beach or just enjoy the fact you are on vacation! You will get back on the catamaran for the return trip back across to St. Kitts and Port Zante marina, close to your St. Kitts cruise ship pier.

We opted for this Nevis excursion as we have been to St. Kitts several times. We enjoyed the excursion and the lunch. If you want beach time then this probably isn’t your tour. For us, it was just nice to have about half an hr to 45 minutes on the beach before returning to St. Kitts. The crossing was a bit rough on the way over, but the return much better. Seeing the historical sights and learning about the island was why we went and we weren’t disappointed.

Our kids enjoyed the boat ride because the weather on that date was just perfect. We loved Nevis island and the time was actually too short, we felt it happened so fast. The $6.00 USD fee entrance to the museum worth it if you really want to learn a cultural fact about this place. For beach lovers, it might not be that fun.

I totally recommend this excursion for those who are tired of the same sort of crowded and commercial cruise destinations. Our visit to Nevis was a great way to learn about the history and culture of the St. Kitts & Nevis Islands with the difference of not having to deal with all those vendors in St. Kitts. The beach break was fine, kind of short but very refreshing, and the boat ride so relaxing.

The excursion experience was really good, the boat ride is clean and comfortable, the crew very friendly and always assisting us. I wish we could have spent maybe more time at the beach to make a more perfect day.

Power Catamaran was fast and comfortable for the 30 min ride to Nevis. Was rough at times, but not too bad. Arrived in Nevis and was greeted by our tour guide where we he narrated an island tour of the island, finishing up at the Beach for lunch and a very short beach break. If you're looking for beach time this is not the excursion for you. Although the tour was interesting, it was a bit long as I would have enjoyed more time at the beach. As it was, we may have had 30 min on the beach before we headed back. They should really shorten the tour, (Or maybe add drinks?) and increase beach time. All in all, we enjoyed the excursion and everything went as described.

Sister Island Nevis

Fun way to visit sister island Nevis on a clean and spacious catamaran with awesome crew. The catamaran ride was relaxing and great atmosphere on board. We had the guide share some details about both islands, and travel time was 40 minutes approximately each way. Really enjoyed our time in Nevis. Comparing both islands, they have similarities as far a natural beauty. Been to St. Kitts 6 times and there is more going on since cruise ships dock here, more people, more "developed". Nevis is smaller, less people, more calm. We had a really nice time exploring the plantation and relaxing at the less crowded beach. It was a well worth visit.

I have used SE before and so I am a returning Customer. Trust builds trust! To coin a Scottish phrase, "it's like being a bairn in a sweetie shop"; but for cruise excursions. Translation is a child in a candy shop!!!
