This exciting day begins after you take a brief (5-minute) taxi ride from the Puerto Vallarta Cruise Ship Terminal to your meeting point. Then hop aboard the transport for a scenic 45-minute ride to the eco-preserved park for your river adventure - some vehicles are enclosed with air conditioning and some are covered open-air style.

Your professional, English-speaking, zip-line staff will give you instructions and safety tips so that you can enjoy this activity knowing that safety is their main concern. You will be equipped with a helmet, harness, and gloves as well as knowing that the staff will always clip you in every step of the way. Then, you are off to enjoy 6 lines of canopy fun. Each line will give you amazing views of the lush green jungle and the Sierra Madre Mountains.

Then cross two hanging bridges and explore your primitive side on the Tarzan swing. Keep up the adrenaline with the exhilarating 80-foot (27-meter) mountainside rappel. This is truly an adventure!

Next, you will be supplied with a tube to relax while a soft current gently flows you down the river. Your guide will be with you the whole route as you check out the tropical foliage and float down the lovely Cuale River. Keep your eye out for exotic plants and wildlife as you enjoy the refreshing waters. For your convenience, bottled water will also be provided.

Then ride your very own mule on tropical river trails. You've already seen the world above the canopies, now you get the chance to see all the beauty of the rainforest up close and personal. Your mule ride will take you to the tequila exhibit and you will have the opportunity to do your very own taste testing (optional).

Once your excursion is over, you will be given the opportunity to purchase photos and professional videos of your adventure. Then you will board your transportation for the ride back to the marina just a 5-minute taxi ride back to your Vallarta cruise ship terminal (taxi cost is not included).

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear sensitive clothes, sports sandals, or tennis shoes that you do not mind getting wet.
• Bring along sun protection and cash for transportation, balance payment, lunch, souvenirs, tips, etc.
• The shore excursion transportation is either a van or a bus. Some vehicles are enclosed with air conditioning and some are covered in open-air style.

Where we meet

For the Puerto Vallarta Zipline, Rappel, and River Tubing Excursion, the meeting spot is just a 10-minute walking from your Puerto Vallarta Cruise Ship Terminal. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age is 8 years old.
• The maximum weight is 264 lbs (100 kg).
• Guests under 18 years old must be accompanied by a parent participating in the excursion.
• For safety reasons, cameras are not allowed during the route.
• This Puerto Vallarta Zipline, Rappel, and River Tubing Excursion is for physically fit guests and is not suitable for pregnant women, persons with mobility issues, or respiratory problems.
• This Puerto Vallarta Zipline, Rappel, and River Tubing Excursion Adventure may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
