It is just a short drive from your cruise terminal to your first stop, Veragua Rainforest & Research Center. Your guides will greet you and go over all of the safety information, your equipment, and what to expect on your thrilling canopy zipline ride through the Costa Rican rainforest. Rest assured that you will have a fun and safe experience with the top-of-the-line equipment and double zipline cable system. When you are all set, the guides will lead you to the first platform.
The guides will assist you along the entire 11-line, 11-platform circuit as you zip from one platform over to the next. Along with all of the canopy zip line fun, you will also have some outstanding views of La Amistad International Park and Chirripa Reserve uniquely and unforgettably. You will be able to pause for a rest at various platforms and marvel at your view of the Costa Rican rainforest as far as the eye can see.
The start and finish of your exhilarating canopy shore excursion are within walking distance of the reception area where beverages, clean restrooms, and a souvenir shop await you.
After the zipline tour, continue the journey visiting Puerto Moin until you arrive at the Mar Azul wharf, where the covered boat awaits you for an ecological cruise along the Tortuguero Canals.

Where we meet
For this Puerto Limon Private Zip Line Canopy and Tortuguero Jungle River Cruise Excursion, you will meet right at your cruise ship pier and gangway, all necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Puerto Limon Private Zip Line Canopy and Tortuguero Jungle River Cruise Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
