Spend your stop in Mexico's Yucatan Peninsula by joining the Progreso Beach Day Excursion at Costa Club Yucalpeten. Soak up some sun and relax at this beachside resort.

You'll take the free shuttle that will take you the length of the 4-mile long pier and into the edge of town. You'll then need to take one of the many taxis available (or Uber) to Costa Club Resort. This cute little beach hotel is situated about 10- 15 minutes' drive from your cruise ship so less time traveling and more time beaching! If you are looking to get away from the loud cruise ship crowds, then this is the place...you just might be the only ones there!

Your day pass gives you a food and beverage credit as well ($8.00 USD for adults and $7.00 for children, no credit for non-paying infants). When you are hungry, you can order from the beach club menu and your credit will be subtracted off your tab at the end of the day. You'll have use of two freshwater pools, kids pool, kids games, a long stretch of sandy beach, lounge chairs, beach chairs, poolside umbrellas, thatched-roof palapas, showers and more. Please note that all chairs, tables, and loungers are first come, first sit. Take a look at the photos and compare!

You can spend your beach day swimming in the ocean, cooling off in the pool, walking the sandy beach or relaxing on a lounge chair by the ocean. You will have lots of room to catch some rays in the sun or chill in the shade. 

It's your day to enjoy. At the end of your stay, you can simply take a taxi or Uber back to your Progreso cruise terminal. Guests just need to be aware of the all aboard time and allow for travel back to the terminal.

Excursion Notes

• You must bring cash to pay the taxi and the balance amount due to Costa Club. NO CREDIT CARDS can be taken. Please have exact change for the balance or change may be given back to you in pesos.
• We recommend to bring along a towel, a change of clothes, swimsuit, sun protection, and cash for additional food and drink purchases beyond your credit ($8.00 USD off your tab for adults, $7.00 USD off tab for children, no credit for infants).
• Travel time is about 10 minutes each way.
• Please note that taxi/Uber cost is NOT included.
• Note that all chairs, tables, and loungers are first come, first use. If you are with a group, it may take a while until you can gather seats together.
• Please note that food/beverage credits can't be used for another purpose or transferred to another credit. Only the person who has the credit can use it for their own food/beverage bill.
  

Where we meet

For this Progreso Costa Club Beach Day Excursion, you will meet directly in Costa Club Resort after the free shuttle ride from the pier to town and taxi or Uber to the resort (estimate taxi cost is $8.00 USD one way per taxi for 4 guests, not per person). All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18 years old, proof of age may be required.
• Underage participants must be supervised by an adult/guardian at all times.
• The beach club does offer use of a sand wheelchair to guests on first come, first use basis.
  

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
