Your Ocho Rios river tubing cruise excursion begins right from the cruise pier in Ocho Rios where your guide and transportation are waiting for you. The drive is scenic and the travel time is not long.
When you arrive at the facilities, you will get checked in and receive a briefing from your guide. Then it's off for some fun on the river - white water tubing! The river tubing shore excursion guide will pass out your safety gear and take the group over the Irie Bridge and down a jungle trail to where you will launch the tubes. After a final check, you'll all jump in and the excitement begins.
The river currents will take you through the rainforest as you enjoy the view during the lazy sections of the river. With each lazy section comes a thrilling class 2 rapid where the pace of the water picks up and your tube floats through the splashing white water. Coming to a bend in a lazy part of the river, you can try your Tarzan skills on the rope swing - fun to do and funnier to watch!
Then you will start down the river over a few more rapids until the river calms. A boat will take you to a private beach if time allows (or guests can walk the short distance) where refreshing drinks await you. You can take a swim in the aqua-blue Caribbean sea and see some of the photos taken during the excursion.
Your transportation will take you back to your Ocho Rios pier.
Travel time from your pier to the site is included in the overall excursion length: 20 minutes from Falmouth, 45 minutes from Montego Bay, and 40 minutes from Ocho Rios each way.
Where we meet
For this Ocho Rios River Tubing and Private Beach Excursion, you will meet just outside your cruise terminal in Ocho Rios, Jamaica. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Ocho Rios River Tubing and Private Beach Excursion,we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if:
- You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
- Your ship misses/skips the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
- Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
