Your meeting point will be just outside the cruise ship terminal area. The friendly, English-speaking sailing crew will get you checked in and onboard the transportation. It is just a short distance from the sailboat dock. Once you arrive at the dock, the captain and crew will welcome you aboard. There will be plenty of room for all guests. There are 2 sailboats - one is 41' with a maximum of 12 guests, and the other is 56' with 26 guests maximum. The boat used depends on the number of guests booked for the departure.
Please make sure you choose the correct pricing for your excursion date.
The captain will raise the sails and the boat will head out to your first destination. As the boat sails through the clear blue water off Nassau, the crew will offer complimentary beverages - fruit punch, iced tea, lemonade, and bottled water. Relax and enjoy the scenery!
As the boat approaches the reef where you will snorkel, the crew will pass out the snorkeling gear. They will show you how to use it properly and then assist you into the water for a guided snorkel. The reef is very shallow (12') so viewing of the marine life is outstanding. You will receive approximately 1.25 hours of snorkel time. The guide will point out tropical fish, coral formations and other marine life found on the reef.
When the snorkeling is completed, the guide will lead you back to the boat. You will then be taken to Rose Island to enjoy an hour of relaxation in the sun and the white sand.
The crew will assist you back on the sailboat when the beach break is over. They will pass out a complimentary rum punch and a lite snack of cheese and crackers.
Just lay back and relax in the sun as the boat sails back to the dock. Your transportation will take you back to the meeting point at the cruise pier.
The perfect Nassau Excursion combo - real sailing, guided snorkel, and beach break on a tropical island. Enjoy complimentary beverages, light snacks, and round-trip transportation from the cruise pier.
