Your exciting day will start after a short ferry ride from Nassau’s harbor to the beautiful Pearl Island. From there, you will go directly to Pigs Beach, which is just a short five-minute trip away. After arriving, you’ll meet the local pigs and enjoy hanging out with them in their natural habitat. You will be able to play, swim, pet, and even feed them! Do not lose any second of this unforgettable experience and do not forget to bring your camera to capture the best pictures and create memories for a lifetime!
After your time with your new four-legged friends, you will spend the rest of your day soaking some sun back at Pearl Island! Our relaxing and quiet, sun-drenched retreat is the perfect way to escape from the din of Nassau’s crowds. Drink a refreshing cocktail under the shade of the leafy palm trees, take a nice sunbathe on the white-powdery sand beaches, or take a swim in the crystal clear blue waters of Nassau. You will also enjoy a delicious Bahamian-style lunch with tasty dishes like BBQ chicken, peas and rice, fish fingers, and vegetables. All served on the patio to admire the incredible lighthouse and mesmerizing ocean!
After your lunch break, you can have fun using kayaks, paddle boards, or water mats all along the coastline or lying down on the lounge chairs at the property.
Your only regret will be returning to the cruise terminal, at the end of your excursion time you will take your ferry ride to return to the harbors and you will be more than welcome to take a taxi to go back to your cruise ship terminal safe and sound. If you need assistance getting a taxi, please feel free to ask your friendly staff, they will assist you immediately!
Where we meet
For the Nassau Pearl Island Swimming with Pigs Excursion, you will meet your shore excursion guides inside Paradise Island Ferry Terminal just a short taxi ride. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Cruise Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Nassau Pearl Island Swimming with Pigs Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 48 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
