You will meet your guide outside your Fort de France Martinique cruise port and board your transportation. The day will start heading to the southern side of the island, where the famous Trois Rivieres Distillery is! Enjoy a delicious sample! and get your favorite bottles at the boutique! This beautiful site also has a hut where coconut products are available.
After your tasty first experience learning about the true flavors of Martinique, you will head to Cap 110, a memorial erected in memory of slavery. This Memorial consists of 15 busts of 2.5 meters in height arranged triangularly, to represent the slavery trade triangle between The Americas, Europe, and Africa.
Next, re-board the transportation to the Les Anses d'Arlet, a village in a tranquil cove. Here you will have 50 minutes and you may view the recently renovated bell tour of the church that is situated directly in front of the beach. Alternatively, you may choose to sunbathe on the fine white sand beach, swim or even snorkel! All snorkel gear is included and you can go right from the beach to see the underwater beauty. You have the chance to see many colorful fish and sea turtles.
When you have soaked up all the sun to get the perfect tan, you will be on your way to a viewpoint overlooking Diamond Rock. The island reflects the light in such a way that it appears to be a giant precious stone, making it a fantastic photographic opportunity. Do not forget your camera.
Once you have completed your Martinique experience the transportation will bring you directly back to your Fort de France cruise port.
Note: The balance payment is only accepted in euros. The euro balance will be shown on your e-ticket. Please either bring euros from home or you'll find ATMs and an exchange bureau -- Change Caribe -- in Fort-de-France, just a short walk from the Pointe Simon terminal. (It's also walkable from La Tourelles, but it's a bit farther).
