This is the perfect excursion to visit 2 of the most amazing cities in Italy, all in one! Your day begins once you meet your professional excursion staff, you will board your comfortable transportation to go directly to Florence, which is considered an open-air museum!

The city center has been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site, built on the site of an Etruscan settlement, rose to economic and cultural pre-eminence under the Medici in the 15th and 16th centuries. Its 600 years of extraordinary artistic activity can be seen above all in the 13th-century cathedral (Santa Maria del Fiore), Ponte Vecchio, a medieval bridge above the Arno River. It is an important symbol of the city and one of the most famous bridges in the world! You will also have the chance to visit the Piazza della Signoria, where you can see and take pictures of the wonderful Michelangelo's David replica statue that is located at the entrance of the Piazza!

At the end of your visit to Florence and before you return to your transportation to your next stop, Pisa, you will have the opportunity to visit the city's central market where you can taste delicious local dishes and get some excellent local items and souvenirs at your own expense. After this experience, you will have some free time to explore and browse around the city on your own.

Next stop will be the magnificent city of Pisa. Let yourself be amazed by its culture and amazing monuments, like the Piazza dei Miracoli, an UNESCO World Heritage Site that was owned by the Catholic Church and has four important religious buildings: The Pisa Cathedral, the Pisa Baptistery, the Leaning Tower of Pisa (bell tower), and the Camposanto Monumentale ('Monumental Cemetery'). Nowadays, it is well known as an important art center in the world! Explore all of them and learn all about its rich history! 

You will have approximately 3 hours and 30 minutes of free time in Florence to relax and enjoy the city, while in Pisa you will have about 75 minutes to discover the wonderful charms and colors of its most important buildings and take pictures at the Pisa Tower! At the end of your excursion, you will go back to your transportation to return to your meeting point in Livorno and go back to your cruise ship terminal on time!

Where we meet

For this Livorno to Florence and Pisa with Leaning Tower Entrance Ticket Excursion, you will meet your friendly staff at Via Cogorano close to your Livorno Cruise Terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Guests must be able to walk on paved, gravel, and cobblestone surfaces, some on inclines at most stops.
  
• There are steps required to enter several of the sites as well as steep curbs in some areas.
• This excursion involves a lot of walking so it is NOT suitable for guests with walking difficulties.
  
• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• Seating on the bus is on a first come basis.
  
• Excursion tickets are only valid on City Sightseeing buses. Unused tickets or tickets presented to another operator are non-refundable.
  
• Schedule times might change due to traffic or any other force majeure.
  
• Children under 8 are not allowed to enter the Leaning Tower of Pisa.

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
