On this Grand Cayman Stingray City and Coral Gardens 2 Stop Snorkel Excursion, you'll have the opportunity to feed and play with Southern Rays at Stingray City and snorkel over the top of a gorgeous coral reef at Coral Gardens populated with colorful tropical fish.

This great snorkeling excursion begins at your Royal Watler cruise ship tender pier where your English speaking snorkel guide will greet you and lead you to a comfortable air-conditioned transportation. You will head out on a 15-minute ride to the Safe Haven Yacht Club where your experienced captain will welcome you aboard the 48 ft boat for the 25-minute ride to your first stop at the world famous Stingray City sandbar, one of the main attractions of Grand Cayman!

Once you arrive at Stingray City, you'll be able to get in the water and enjoy interacting with the docile Southern Rays. They are quite friendly and have become accustomed to humans over the years. You'll be able to feed and interact with them, which is an experience not soon forgotten. The snorkel guides will go over how you should handle the rays and be with you at all times in the water. You may choose to snorkel over the rays if you wish as well. All snorkel gear is provided including masks, snorkels, fins as well as snorkel floatation vests for those who wish to use one. The shore excursion crew will show you how to use it all. Once your fun with the rays is completed, the crew will help you back on board.

Then you're off to your second snorkel cruise excursion stop, Coral Gardens. Once you arrive at the site you will enjoy a guided snorkel over top of a beautiful reef system that's teeming with colorful tropical fish. Your guide will make sure to point out anything of interest as they lead you on a guided snorkel. Do not forget your camera to capture all of the beauty. The crew will assist you back on the boat for the return trip back. Cold bottled water will be provided throughout this Grand Cayman cruise excursion.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you bring along a towel, sun protection, light snack, and cash for balance payment, tips, etc.
  
• Please use oil-free sunblock to protect the stingrays and the coral reefs.
• You can use a zip-lock bag to prevent your electronics devices from getting wet.
• For children under 4 years old, parents should bring life vests and snorkel gear if needed as the operator may only have limited snorkel equipment in smaller sizes.

Where we meet

For the Grand Cayman Stingray City and Coral Gardens 2 Stop Snorkel Excursion, you will meet just outside your Grand Cayman Cruise Ship Tender Pier. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Guests must be able to climb up/down the ladder from the boat into the water.
• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• Prior snorkel experience is not needed, guests should feel comfortable in the water.
• Children must be attended by an adult at all times and may not be left on the boat unattended.
• Minimum participation age is 1 year old.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• You want to cancel at any time, for any reason, before or after your arrival. Simply contact us via email reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com within 14 days of your missed excursion date for a deposit refund.
• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location.
• Your ship misses/skips the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator to run the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the tour operator or guest may send doctor's note).
  
• Cancellations that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund. Guests must notify us within 14 days after their excursion date via email for requesting a refund of booking payment made to Shore Excursioneer.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
