The meeting point is just a short walking distance from the cruise ship terminal. Your guides will be waiting, get you checked in, and then into the transportation for a short 45-minute drive, a beautiful adventure in itself.

Driving through the city, outskirts and along a scenic highway, you will experience the sights and sounds of the everyday life of the locals. Your guide will be giving you information along the way as you head to the dive base. Through the hills and along the coast, your driver will take you off the beaten path to the most pristine, beautiful cove that will leave you breathless.

Once at Playa Arbolitas (Little Trees Beach), the PADI-certified dive master will pass out your dive equipment, and go over some basic instructions and the dive plan for the day. Then they will lead you into the water to explore the underwater world full of magic and mystery on your one-tank dive. On this excursion, you will get up close and personal with lots to see and explore, including kelp forests, walls, reefs, and sea mounds teeming with vibrant colors full of marine life.

The sea floor is carpeted with life including algae, sea anemones, sponges, sun stars, bat stars, nudibranchs, and much more. All divers should use caution with buoyancy control and always be aware of what is below them so as not to damage, injure or kill marine life. The dive master will be with you for the entire dive.

When you return back to the beach where you started, the transportation will take you back to town where you will enjoy a traditional cultural lunch of the most amazing and delicious fish tacos! Guests may choose to shop, explore and return to the ship at their leisure.

Wetsuits are included. Ensenada Beaches sea temperatures range - 19 to 23C / 66 to 73F, warmest in September and lowest in February.

What is included?

Where we meet

The meeting point for this Ensenada Shore SCUBA Diving Excursion is located just a short walk from the cruise terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum participation age 15 years old.
• Guests who are pregnant and have other medical issues including recent surgery, heart problems, history of blackouts or stroke, etc may not participate.
• All guests must complete and pass a strict medical waiver before this excursion.
• This excursion is not wheelchair friendly.
• This Ensenada SCUBA Diving Excursion from Shore at Arbolitos may involve risks. We suggest you check with your elected person of choice to see if these possible risks might affect you.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
