Your incredible day will start just outside the Old Town, where your friendly guide will be waiting for you. He will give you a brief introduction of the schedule for the day and right after, you will jump to your air-conditioned transportation to explore the amazing Dubrovnik. If you are a Game of Thrones or a history fan, this is your excursion! Your guide is not only a professional but also very knowledgeable in the history of Dubrovnik, not only that but also a big fan of the HBO TV show so he will give you interesting facts about the filming times and very interesting information about Old Town.
The first place on the list will be the visit the Fort Lovrijenac, which has three levels and protects Port Kolorina which is the oldest port of Dubrovnik. It was used as the Red Keep, which in the Game of Thrones series was the residence of the King of the Andals and the First Men, located within the fictional city of King's Landing. You will explore the fort with your guide always giving valuable information and offering the chance to take lots of pictures of some of the filming locations inside such as "The Blackwater Bay" or the "Walk of Shame".
After this, your guide will take you to a certificated Game of Thrones souvenir shop where you will have the chance to sit on a replica of the Iron Throne! Feel like the King of Westeros and save this moment forever in a nice picture.
Lastly during your excursion, you will be escorted to the Old port of Dubrovnik where you will board a nice motor boat for a relaxing 45-minute panoramic sailing around Lokrum Island and enjoy the beautiful views of the city from the sea.
At the end of your excursion, you'll board your transportation to return to the meeting point, where
you can continue exploring the Old Town and take a taxi back to your
cruise ship terminal at your leisure.
Where we meet
For this Dubrovnik Excursion, you will meet your local excursion guide just a short taxi ride from your Dubrovnik cruise terminal. All necessary
details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket. If
your ship does not dock and is at anchor, please allow enough time to
tender ashore for your departure.
Cancellation
For the Dubrovnik Panorama Adventure by Boat and Game of Thrones Shooting Sites Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 7 days prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
