Explore the beautiful Spanish waters of Curacao in this unique and fun experience, it is the best way to do it. Bring your partner, family, or friends and take part in this one-of-a-kind excursion. You will not regret it.
Your fun day will start after a short ride from the cruise ship terminal to the Tiki Boat Rental offices where the staff will greet you. After your check-in, you will watch a video of the Spanish Waters, the area to explore, etc. You will have time to ask as many questions as you need and once you get all the information you will be guided to your unique and brand-new Tiki Boat where you will receive a brief explanation of how to drive. These boats are very easy to self-drive, however, please note that you can request a captain to drive for you if needed (it has an extra cost of $70).
Once on board, your amazing and relaxing day on the Spanish Waters will start. This lagoon is one of the landmarks of Curacao and is well-known for its calm and tranquil waters so you can sail at an easy pace just having fun with your party, enjoying the view and the soft breeze in your hair, you will also be able to swim during your boat day.
This Tiki Boat adventure also offers 3 add-on food packages, please review them below to see what is included, please note these are paid directly to the operator. Please consider that these packages do not include drinks, you are more than welcome to bring your drinks or you can request them at extra cost before starting your boat adventure, the cost ranges between $2.00 to $30.00, and options go from a bottle of water, beer, sodas, and even wine.
The 3 main packages to add on are the following, please add your request in the comment section when entering your booking:
Tiki Boat Standard package includes: Chicken sate, burger slider + bun, BBQ sauce, potato salad, garlic bread, garlic, and peanut butter sauce. Extra cost of $16.50 per person.
Tiki Boat Deluxe package includes: Flat iron steak, chicken sate, salmon, potato salad, garlic bread, garlic, and peanut butter. Extra cost of $22.50 per person.
Tiki Boat Vegetarian Package includes: Oyster mushroom burger, corn on the cob, potato salad, garlic bread, garlic, and peanut butter sauce. Extra cost of $15.00 per person.
Consider that the food packages do not include the BBQ cobb, therefore, whenever you add food that will be added for an extra charge of $20 per boat (this will also include platters, cups, silverware, and napkins) Please note you are also very welcome to bring your food and drinks too!
Unfortunately, all the great things must come to an end, once the excursion time is over you will head back to the Tiki Boat pier where your friendly staff will be more than happy to help you get a taxi to your cruise ship terminal.
NOTE: Please consider that a $250.00 security deposit is required. If the vessel is returned with damage, these costs will be deducted from the deposit. It is refundable and it has to be paid during your check-in in USD cash.
Where we meet
For this Curacao Self-Driven Tiki Boat Excursion, you will meet directly at the Tiki Boat Rental offices, a 15-20-minute taxi ride from your Curacao cruise ship terminal. All necessary information will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.
Cancellation
For the Curacao Self-Driven Tiki Boat Excursion, we issue full refund for your deposit or full payment to us if: Canceled by client prior to excursion date with a minimum of 24 hours prior notice by email to reservations@shoreexcursioneer.com.
For cancellation reasons below, you must contact us via email within 14 days after your excursion:
- Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
- Your ship skips/misses the port.
- Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
- A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
- Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
- Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
