Just walk on the seafloor at the Pier of Mari Pampoen, enjoy the beautiful coral banks, and even feed all the fish around! Do not miss the opportunity to immerse yourself in this adventure!

Your day will start at the Sea Trek Curacao Underwater Walking Excursion offices, only 10 minutes away via taxi from your cruise ship terminal. There is an option to purchase round transportation upon request with an extra charge of $15 US per person. Once you get there, you will receive instructions about how to use the Sea Trek Helmet equipment, brief and easy, your Sea Trek Helmet will rest over your shoulders keeping your hair and face dry. Do not worry! The helmet is connected to special tubes that will go over the water's surface making your breathing as natural as will be outside the water!

Next, you are ready to start your underwater experience! Get ready to admire all the coral and marine sea life around you. Your Curacao Sea Trek Helmet Dive Underwater Walk Excursion guide will lead your group through a walk where you will bounce "weightlessly" through the water. Think of you as a sort of an astronaut, you can pretend to be one! Your guide will show you the many colorful fish and coral banks, and lead you on a fun exploration. The bottom of the sea is just 20ft deep, almost like a diving pool but so much better! 

Once your fun time comes to an end, your guide will assist you in getting outside the water and removing your Sea Trek Helmet equipment. You can rinse the sea salt off you and once you are ready, their friendly staff can help you call a taxi to go back to your cruise ship terminal or just keep exploring the beautiful port of Curacao. In case you have purchased the optional round transportation, just inform your guide so they can assist you.


SPECIAL NOTE: For this excursion, it is mandatory to sign an information waiver, they will give you one on-site.

Excursion Notes

• We suggest you wear a swimsuit, bring a towel, sun protection, cash for food/beverages, tips, etc.
• Round-transportation service is available for an extra cost of $15 US per person.
• You can purchase underwater pictures and videos for an extra payment per group on-site with your local operator.
• You can wear glasses and contact lenses.
• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• No swimming ability is required.
• Participants breath normally through nose and mouth, no mouthpieces are needed.

Where we meet

For the Curacao Sea Trek Helmet Dive Underwater Walk Excursion, you will meet your local shore excursion guide just a 10-15 minute taxi ride from your Curacao cruise ship terminal. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• The minimum age to participate in this excursion is 8 years old.
• The maximum age to participate in this excursion is 80 years old.
• There is a maximum of 8 participants per departure.
• Please note it is mandatory to fill out a waiver before starting the excursion.
• This excursion is not wheelchair accessible.
• Depending on health issues the excursion could be restricted by the local guides.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
