Choose to drive the buggy yourself or sit back and relax while your guide takes the wheel, allowing you to fully soak in the atmosphere and scenery! As your memorable excursion comes to a close, hop back into your buggy to return to the original meeting point. From there, you can either take a short walk to the cruise terminal or explore Cozumel City at your own leisure and expense.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend that guests bring a swimsuit, towel, sun protection, cash for any remaining balance or additional purchases, and tips.
• Please note that there are only 2 automatic buggies available, which are offered upon request but cannot be guaranteed.
• All drivers must present a valid driver's license.
• The minimum age to drive is 18 years old.
• This excursion requires a minimum of 2 guests to operate.

Where we meet

For the Cozumel Private Buggy Island Experience Excursion, you will meet just a short walk from your cruise ship terminal. All the necessary details will be provided on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Parents must supervise their children at all times.
• This excursion is not suitable for guests with limited mobility (such as those with knee or hip issues, or using walkers, wheelchairs, or mobility scooters).
• Guests must be able to get in and out of buggies that do not have doors.
• The minimum age for alcohol consumption is 18. Guests may be asked to provide proof of age for the tequila tasting.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
