While on a cruise stop in beautiful Bonaire, you will have the opportunity to discover the island's amazing underground cave system! With an estimated 400 caves, your guide will only show you the greatest ones to offer you the best experience.

Your friendly and knowledgeable guide will greet you outside your cruise ship terminal to start your fun day. You'll board your comfortable air-conditioned shore excursion transportation and travel across the north side of Bonaire to reach the hilltop. On the way, your helpful guide will share interesting information about the island and the incredible caves you will explore.

During this amazing Bonaire shore excursion, you will be guided through three magnificent caves, two dry ones, and one wet/dry cave where you will even have the chance to swim in its pristine water to refresh yourself after exploring the multiple caverns! These caves are full of history and nature. You will see beautiful formations, fossilized corals, imprints, and limestone. You'll be able to take amazing photos of this site since it is truly the best-kept secret of Bonaire!

At the end of your amazing cave excursion, your excursion guide will take you back to your comfortable transportation to enjoy a nice and fast ride to your Bonaire cruise ship terminal with plenty of time for you to explore this enchanting port on your own.

Excursion Notes

• We recommend you wear comfortable clothes and closed shoes, preferably use some pants/jeans you don't mind getting dirty and bring a hat/cap. Activewear is recommended
• If you are planning to swim in the cave, we recommend you wear swimwear.
• Bring a change of clothes, a camera, and cash to pay the balance, tips, etc.
• We recommend bringing additional bottled water and snacks.
• The maximum number of people is 14 guests.

Where we meet

For the Bonaire Cave Exploration Excursion, you will meet your local shore excursion guide right outside your cruise ship's terminal in Kralendijk Bonaire. All necessary details will be printed on your Electronic Shore Excursion Ticket.

Excursion Restrictions

• Guests must be in good physical condition, some spaces are very narrow and you might have to crawl.
• Please be advised that the caves are naturally hot and humid, and the air in some sections can be dense.
• Larger, overweight guests may not participate due to the size of the cave openings. For any questions, please contact us.
• Underage participants must be with an adult.
• This Bonaire Guided Cave Exploration Excursion is not suitable for guests in wheelchairs or anyone with mobility issues or those with knee problems.

Excursion FAQ

Cancellation

• Your ship arrives into port late and you cannot make it in time to the meeting location (we will verify with the tour operator).
• Your ship skips/misses the port.
• Weather conditions or equipment failure prevents the operator from running the excursion.
• A medical problem prevents you from safely participating in the excursion (we will verify with the excursion operator and the guest may send doctor's note). This applies to individuals only and not the remainder of the group.
  
• Cancellations/deposit refund requests that do not comply with the above may not be subject to refund.
• Refunds may be subject to a service charge fee as determined by the payment processor, please refer to Terms and Conditions for more information.
